24.01.2022 Hi guys Kurri Community Festival this year will be on Sat 21st October. Kurri Rotary have again invited Interact to work in their food and drinks van. Please comment below what time you would be available that day so we can sort out a roster! Also don't forget to keep fundraising for the Colour Run!

23.01.2022 TGIF! It’s the middle week of term! To celebrate the end of the middle week of term and also to raise some money to run Toastie Tuesdays, Interact put on a BBQ and Music in the Quad at school today. HUGE thank you to Paul and Greg from Kurri Rotary for your support and help cooking the snags!

You can set up an online profile at www.schoolfunrun.com.au Sign up as a student and share the link to your page on Facebook, that way your family and friends can donate online! Remember everyone who raises over $10 gets a prize, and it's so we can run our Beautification Team and Fruit Club next term! Happy fundraising!

21.01.2022 What a busy semester we have had! Since our re-launch at the beginning of Term 3 KKHS Interact Team have raised money for farmers, worked with Kurri Rotary at Build for A Cure and Carols, been on Rotary camps and overseas trips, given back to our school community with our Free Fruit Wednesdays and also started our very own after school canteen. It's not over yet with our Ronald McDonald House Toy Drive finishing next week and our Christmas Themed Out of Uniform Day raising money for Ronald McDonald House on Monday. Thank you to Kurri Rotary Club for your ongoing guidance and support. Well done Interactors, you should all be very proud of your efforts.

20.01.2022 Aidan all set up for our first After School Canteen. KKHS Interact plan to sell drinks to all those waiting for the bus in the heat. If all goes well we may even add snacks next year All profits will go back into running the free fruit program

20.01.2022 Christmas spirit hits KKHS Thank you to everyone who dressed up in their Christmas shirts and costumes today. We have raised $163 from your gold coin donations.... Reminder too that the toy drive finishes Tuesday afternoon. Interact students are looking forward to delivering your donations to Ronald McDonald House in Newcastle on Wednesday. The Interact Team

08.01.2022 Georgia's off to PNG We wish Year 12 student Georgia Clark all the best today as she heads for Papua New Guinea for the Rotary Real Schoolies Program. As part o...f the program, Georgia will be able to experience a developing country, assist with humanitarian work and experience being part of a new community and culture. 07.01.2022 Catch our CAPA Superstars at the Kurri Community Festival today! Adrenalin, I Get Mad and dancers are on the main stage at 1.15pm and Interlude is on at 2pm. You could also purchase a drink and sausage sandwich from one of our friendly Interact team in the Rotary Food Van. It's sure to be a wonderful day!

05.01.2022 Toastie Tuesday by Interact Today we launched our Toastie Tuesday initiative. We are giving back to our school community by making Toasties on a Tuesday morning and giving them out for free in the quad before school. The idea is to help ensure that students have some breakfast before starting their lessons for the day. Through our work with Kurri Rotary and various other fundraising efforts, we have raised enough money to purchase the sandwich presses and food each week to provide the Toasties for free to the students at KKHS.

01.01.2022 Exciting news Interactors Free Fruit After Sport is starting tomorrow! Paul will be bringing up the fruit at around 12, all those students who work with Miss Standing during sport will collect it and set up in the quad. We'll need all hands on deck during lunch 2 to help give it out! This is all thanks to your hard work helping in the Rotary food van at the various festivals. Congratulations, your hard work is now paying off!
