24.01.2022 APPRECIATION The best part about my job is the people I meet along the way! The range of different people I see on the daily basis just amazes me. Each and everyone one of us are so different! Different bodies, different minds, different opinions/ beliefs, and different vulnerabilities. The human body is such an amazing thing! And I appreciate you all for trusting me with yours! ... Here’s a photo of me with my client Jake, who has been coming in to see me for a whopping years! People are always asking me, how I can stand massaging people all day, every day? Well... to get straight to the point - It gives me a sense of satisfaction when people such as sportsmen, people into fitness, desk workers, elderly, pregnant mums or stressed out workaholics come in to see me with pain, and they leave with a sense of relief. To manually feel and physically see muscles relax during a treatment is really fulfilling and is a great feeling knowing i have played a part . . Not only do I enjoy the physical improvement I see with massage, but also the emotional/ mental aspect. In some instances, I feel as though I take on part role of a counsellor. I get to meet lots of great people and hear their story, the good and the bad. I truly believe listening to other peoples stresses in life allows them to mentally unwind as well as physically through remedial massage . . When I’m complimented on my treatments or even just to see someone walk out with improved posture, and/ or reduced pain- THAT’S the satisfaction that keeps me passionate about my job
