13.01.2022 Ive been thinking Maybe could do with a bit more kindness, patience and sympathy and cut down on the judgment a bit. Were all suffering down here in Vic.... Its hard, aint no bones about it. But Ive been finding it easier to cope if I think of others with compassion and not annoyance. Most people are doing their best in an extremely funky situation. Its better for your mental health if you resist getting too agitated by everything going on. I know, easier said than done, and there are definitely some dicks out there but for the most part, were giving this fight a crack. Just a thought. 06.01.2022 Yesterday I got to marry Phill and Cori just before the wedding industry shuts down for at least six weeks. The poor fellas were meant to get married in March, then postponed to October but as the craziest year in history continues... decided to grab the moment before it's gone. Within 24 hours, we found ourselves standing in Phill's garage doing the deed.... As they stood in the upside-down arch of a car hoist, with Cori holding a muffler filled with fake flowers, we joked and giggled and said to each other; 'What a wacky way to get married!' Loved. Every. Second! Congrats beautiful boys, we'll do it again soon and it will be fabulous!!!!! @ Highpoint Mufflers and Service Centre

03.01.2022 I’m so incredibly saddened to hear that my beautiful client Shannon lost his battle with cancer this week. I married him to his gorgeous wife Stef back in April in the cruisiest, loveliest little ceremony & was touched by their incredible spirit & positivity. I’m so glad they got to marry (on the 3rd attempt due to his health) and all I saw that day was joy, and celebration, and love & life... ... I see his endless tributes all say #restinpower so that’s what I’ll wish him as well. Life is short, be like Shannon & savour every moment. X

03.01.2022 What beautiful words to receive from a funeral client. I helped with Nicole's Mum's send-off, when numbers were capped at 10 and our meeting was held over zoom. It was really tricky to manage under the covid circumstances but we did it and we did it well!

03.01.2022 Cleaning the bathroom mirror this morning (never happens... things had lost control) I retrieved this little fortune cookie message I got years ago. . I’ve especially loved & been proud of it because that’s what my career has entailed ever since I strapped on my first pair of clown shoes in 2002! . But this hasn’t been such a favourable thing in the face of the pandemic where large crowds were no longer. ... . So today, with numbers for weddings & funerals jumping to a MASSIVE 150, I feel I can go back to doing what I was born to do. .
