24.01.2022 Just a Quick reminder everyone, I’ve a had a couple booking requests for the holidays. We are closed from Good Friday over Easter for family time. We also will be closed for the 1st week of school holidays so no lessons are available our horses will all need a good week off. I will be in South Australia from the 4th of April through until the 12th of April. My Sister Stephanie will re open the business for lessons from the 13th of April as I will be in Perth for interschools all that week Happy Easter Everyone

22.01.2022 Coaching fees. Please be aware if you are on our emailing list you would have received an email regarding our price increase. For those who haven’t please see below. Good Afternoon,... During the last 6 -8 months KLF Horsemanship has seen increased costs for products and professional services. This has increased the cost of caring for, and supporting, our school horses due to the COVID-19 pandemic conditions, lack of pasture and hay supplies from drought affect areas, and economic effects on stock feed production. Unfortunately, due to these increased operating costs we have had to increase our prices to ensure we can continue to offer our high-quality services. Please see attached the updated price list for all the changes in our pricing. Please read the new price list carefully, as our coaching prices will now vary depending on whether we supply a school horse, or you supply your own. The new price list will come into effect from 8th of March 2021. For those who have previously purchased a block of lessons, I will honour the current coaching price until you have used up all your credit. After which, the new price structure will apply. A discount can be discussed if you wish to purchase in bulk. Should you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me. We have had a few changes here at KLF Horsemanship and a very sad farewell to Romeo who was one of our school ponies. ... Keep a eye out in your emails for the next newsletter. I’d you would like to be on the email list then please send me a message and let me know For those who missed the previous post, we have an online booking option now at the top of the page where it will show you all available appointments and let you book. Currently we don’t have any available weekend kids places available, although we do have 6 places during the week available to adult riders. For those of you whom have your own horses we have several places available throughout Tuesday to Sunday I do have set travel days should you need me to travel to you for a coaching session Thanks everyone and see you all soon

16.01.2022 New Horse Wanted.... I have a lovely client looking for a dressage prospect. Only low to intermediate level competition. Small petite adult rider. She is an intermediate level rider and has weekly lessons. Has currently been riding our school horse Romeo in the arena and out on trail. Ideal height 14.2 to 15.2hh ... Must be sound, level headed, excellent confirmation, easy to float, worm, farrier, catch and of course handle. No older the 12 year old or younger then 8 yr old unless super quiet. Open to breeds but currently owns a Thoroughbred whom is on spell. Budget is $5000 See more

14.01.2022 The welfare of our horses here at #klfhorsemanship are the most important thing to us, Miss Star has unfortunately pulled both her front suspensory ligaments and has now been sent to bed rest. With the support from Arun at South West Equine Services, daily hand walking, leg icing and with some equissage , hopefully Star will be back to her old self in no time. For now she is being pampered and fussed over along with a nice long break. For all the visiting clients Miss Star wont say no to a carrot or two and a smootch #aqha #rehabilitation #timeforloveandpamper

10.01.2022 Wet Weather Warning!! As the weather gets wetter we have some some alternative rider coaching and fitness options. If the weather is predicted to be awful you can still join in on a group session working on some basic at home fitness exercises to help build core and leg strengthening exercises. We also have Tank! we can continue to build muscle and rhythm with our pretend horse. I am happy to coach in the rain still but it isn't a requirement if you feel unsafe. ... Thunderstorms and lightning we will cancel the lessons planned for the day. Any questions please feel free to contact me any time :)

09.01.2022 We are head on into term 2 and I was super proud of Izzy today. Izzy started with me in term 1 and has been improving becoming competent on multiple of our horses. Today Izzy rode our 4 yr old QH Hudson. Well done Izzy proud of you #ridercoaching #klfhorsemanship #aqhaproud

08.01.2022 New booking system. Hey guys we will be using a new booking system which the link will be attached to Facebook and our website. You can now jump Facebook and look for available appointments Appointfix also has an automated service to confirm bookings. If you receive a confirmation text message please respond with a yes or no so that I know you will be at your lesson. If I do not get a lesson confirmation I will open the slot up to another client. I am in the teething fa...ze so please be patient with me. We have very limited places at the moment so please ensure you attend your lesson booked. If you cant attend please let us know 48 hours in advanced to avoid being billed you lesson charge. On another note my sister Stephanie has come to join us for a while and will assist with coaching for me as I have a very busy time coming up supporting my sponsored riders. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to let me know. School holidays - Just a reminder we will be closed from Good Friday 2/4/2010 through until 11/4/2021 for Easter and to give the horses a holiday. My sister will be coaching the second week of the holidays as I will be attending Interschools with Tegan and Hotlips. 02.01.2022 Big shout out to Andrea from Performance Saddle Fits for her continued support ensuring all school horses but also sponsored horses are fitted with the correct saddle. We were very lucky to try out this lovely Cavaletti jumping saddle for our Horse Kool Ma Lady. Aka Hotlips and it was a perfect fit!! Hotlips needed a saddle with a wider channel to support her bigger trapeze muscle as you can see in the pictures. With Yalambi and Interschools coming up we really needed her... not only performing well but also comfortable. But this wasn’t all... Jessie from Saddlery In Motion also just so happen to be able to supply all the leathers and girth for the jump saddle and at a reasonable price. Thank you ladies for your continued support. See more
