25.01.2022 People keep asking us about making donations to Nepal.We personally have made the decision to not donate to a registered charity. We have a local Nepalese friend Prakash Simkhada whose background is in public health. He is currently moving from district to district helping families with food and shelter. Prakash has made a public request for funds to continue the work his group is doing. My experience is that in Nepal many of the communities are remote and only accessible by... foot. For this reason many of the aid agencies have been unable to get support through and hence are concentrating on city areas like Kathmandu where they can do the most good. By giving to Prakash we are confident that him and his local team can make inroads to the more remote areas that have also been affected significantly by the earthquake. Please direct message us if you wish to add to our donation.

18.01.2022 We are happy to announce that everyone from the KLI Everest Base Camp Trek is now safe and sound back in Perth. Thanks to everyone for the overwhelming response with your messages of support and concern, both in regard to our trek to base camp, and during the turmoil that occurred afterwards. We will be keeping the people of Nepal in our thoughts and prayers. During a time of such hardship for the local people, we were deeply humbled by their unfailing generosity and hospital...ity. This experience has definitely brought us closer together as a team, and we were also able to generate much needed donations and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis WA.
