24.01.2022 Kazia and Oli sitting at the kitchen bench. As the heart of the house this bench is design as a furniture piece. Most kids dinners are here and it’s where dinner parties always start. Strong accents of brass and marble throughout our home with timber and concrete elements.... Nominated in this year’s architecture awards.

23.01.2022 Approval today for an exciting new project on Eighth Avenue. The existing lyric theatre is repurposed as exciting heritage apartments. These podium apartments are married with a new sculptural form above housing new interconnected homes. 4-0. Great result. 22.01.2022 The Klopper Residence. Lots of space out the back for footy and basketball with the outdoor dining covered for hot days and a landscaped roof deck for the cooler months. A new brick from Geraldton brick to pick up the whites of the sand in a local product and a dark timber box to hold all the tricky/messy spaces. Views to the horizon in every direction. Beach 200m away. Heaven.

16.01.2022 Outside/Inside The Paterson Scanlan Residence. We spend as much time designing the spaces between the buildings, as the homes themselves. This project allowed us to design all of these import parts including these lovely built-in and free standing furniture pieces. ...and at the same time made best friends who we still see every week (10 years later). 09.01.2022 Van Someren Residence. A cool triangular pool in the corner of this small, odd shaped block makes a great use of a little corner. Lots of outdoor spaces that link to the indoors and the strong hovering cube of textured brick over the glass ground floor connection.
