14.01.2022 Changes to the 2020 Season.... We ask all members to please complete the below survey by 10pm TONIGHT (Thursday 9th July). Last night at the BCNA meeting all clubs were informed that due to the 500 participant limit imposed by the current Public Health Order on our venue, there are changes to be made for the competition to proceed (see survey for more details).... It is VITAL that all players fill out this survey ASAP to allow us to submit the required information to BCNA . This is super time sensitive and we wont be chasing players for a response. Thank you again for your understanding as we navigate these difficult and unusual times together! https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSciNlT_Y8xJK59v4/viewform

13.01.2022 BCNA held an Executive Meeting today to discuss all options for this seasons netball competition... Please see the below correspondence received from BCNA tonight... * The 2020 BCNA Netball Competition will be a Junior Competition Only (with 1 spectator per player allowed) * Competition will be played on a Saturday... * As per Netball NSW categories, Juniors are identified as 17 years and under (8yrs NSG to under 17) * To stay within the 500 participant cap, 11 courts only will be used at each timeslot Therefore, in line with the above decision, clubs are to submit Junior teams (17 years and under) for review of BCNA grading committee NO LATER THAN 6PM SATURDAY 11 JULY 2020. We understand that there will be members of your club that will be disappointed as a result of this decision, however, it is of the upmost importance that we ensure that we can conduct our competition in safe environment. NB: We have sought advice from Netball NSW regarding reimbursement of their component of the senior registration fee and we have been advised that this is currently under the consideration of the Netball NSW Board of Directors. We will be actively following up on this matter with Netball NSW as a matter of priority. Whilst we know this is not the news everyone wanted to hear and we are disappointed our seniors are unable to play, we are excited that at least our juniors will be able to take the court and hope that everything will return to normal next year and we can get our seniors back out on court also... Thank you all for your patience and understanding and as we have worked hard to ensure the best possible result in the current circumstances....

09.01.2022 Hi All! As we get closer to the season starting after a long wait to hear if it would go ahead we have had a look at our teams and due to the unexpected circumstances of COVID 19 we are in need of some 10 and 11 year old girls to fill some of the teams up! If anyone has any friends that are interested in playing please get them to contact Kalista Klomp at [email protected]. We look forward to the season beginning!

09.01.2022 As we are all playing tomorrow there are just a few more things we need to ensure we follow. - If anyone has visited Victoria in the last 14 days then we ask that you kindly stay home and unfortunately miss the game - If anyone has visited any of the places that have been listed on the NSW Health website https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates again we ask that you stay home and miss the game - We need to ensure we have one spectator per child is being followed - we will be ensuring our teams are following this rule

08.01.2022 We have just confirmed with BCNA that NetSetGo Skills program will NOT run this year (due to the 500 people limit in the current Public Health Order). If you have registered your child for the NetSetGo Skills program or are a senior player this year we will be in contact to discuss the matter of refunds. All other refunds (registration discounts) will also be processed soon now that BCNA have made a final decision regarding the season. Please be patient as we work through this process, it also involves obtaining refunds from BCNA and Netball NSW. If you want to chat about this please message me Kalista Klomp

08.01.2022 BCNA are happy to advise that improvement works have commenced at International Peace Park. As such we will not be able to hold any grading until the works have completed. Blacktown City Council have advised they expect the works to be completed by 16th February 2021.
