24.01.2022 This week we we put the Out back in Scout by Visiting the New Sydney Zoo! Even with a few little sprinkles of rain it turned out to be a Great day!
23.01.2022 This week, KL opted to not run a crew camp, but a couple of social nights instead. In addition, Christina was officially welcomed to the group, marking the first investiture this year.
22.01.2022 Over the weekend 3 of our crew members went to The Peoples Moot at Cataract! Such a great time spent throwing axes, having fun and learning about socialism and communism! Check it out! #RoversDoStuff #KLRC #ThePeoplesMoot #axesthrowing #communism #camping #
22.01.2022 This Week KL was going to partake in the GWS Region rafting weekend with our brilliant, simple to constuct and light weight raft made of Bamboo and Pool Noodles! Unfortunately though the event was postpone due to the weather. So stay tuned for more pictures in the future! We Did however go bowling at Zone Bowling at Castle Hill and Played 2 Games. Game 1was normal with everyone "Getting their Skills back" because "Its been Ages" since we have been bowling. Game 2 however, we... switched thing up. Everyone used their Non Dominant hand! The results were actually pretty surprising We ended the night with a quick session of Lazertag. All in all everyone had a great time. #RoversDoStuff #KingsLangleyRovers #KLRC #Rovers #GWSPR
22.01.2022 A big night for Kings Langley Rovers at tonight’s Region ARP, as a number of Rovies were collected and roles stepped into. Big congratulations to Dale for winning the Crew Leader of the year and Sally as Activities for best adaptive program in 2020. May I introduce one of the new region VLO’s, the new Region Treasurer and the new Region PR officer.... Bravo all round!
18.01.2022 A Few members of the Crew came across an Abandon Camp this morning with rubbish everywhere! 10 Bin Bags later... its all Cleaned Up. Simple things like this make sure The Bridle Tack, and many others, are kept open. #roversdostuff #KingsLangleyRovers #KLRC... #scoutsaustralia #proudtobeascout #4wd247 #drifta #respectthebush #2In2out
17.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Unfortunately, despite our Best efforts to Run the 1st Ever Virtual Macca's Dinner, We have decided to Cancel this years event. We will however be back in 2021! In true Macca's Dinner style, the night is all about raising much needed money for a worthwhile Charity. This year the Charity chosen is "Friends with Dignity" which is all about Domestic Violence. If you can, Please consider still donating. https://www.mycause.com.au//little-friends-scholarship-sup... See you Next year! Regards, Kings Langley Rover Crew
16.01.2022 On this wonderful day while we are all celebrating how amazing our mothers are. We thought we would give you some more information about how Maccas Dinner 2020 is going to run. We have come to the decision that we are indeed going to be live streaming on YouTube. This means that on the night (23rd of May) we will be sharing a link with you to be able to join our stream and all of the fun that comes with it. As mentioned in the previous post, there are some pre-activities for... you all to do to get in the spirit of Maccas dinner and to have a little fun. To complete these activities, you will need to put your creative thinking caps on and be ready to learn some dances. The specifics of these activities will be released very soon. Oh, and one last thing. Don’t forget that this event is still formal! Even though we can’t all be together, this event is still giving you the chance to dust off your best shirt and makeup bags for the first time in what seems like months! We can’t wait to see everyone dolled up and ready to be some of the first to experience THE VERY FIRST VIRTUAL ANNUAL FORMAL MACCAS DINNER EVER.
16.01.2022 Okay, today is the day we are finally going to tell you what the pre-activities are!! Some of you may have already guessed from our previous post that yes, we are indeed going to be learning and recreating TikTok dances. It is your choice to which dance you would like to recreate but the harder it is the more points you will get. Make sure that your video is no longer then 1 minute long to be in the running to win a prize. The second challenge is the most exciting one. You wi...ll be recreating your favourite or go to Maccas meal with any media you wish. This means that you could cook it, sculpt it, paint it, build it, the only limit is your imagination!!!! This challenged will be submitted as a photo or short video no longer then 30 seconds. The most authentic looking Maccas Meal will be the one to win a prize. Now onto some housekeeping. These videos/photos that you submit may be used in our livestream later on the 23rd. This means that all content needs to be ‘scout friendly’ meaning there is to be no swearing, drinking or smoking to be used or seen at all throughout all submissions. If there is anything un scout like spotted in your submissions they will be removed. Your submissions need to be private messaged to our crew Facebook page ‘Kings Langley Rover Crew’ by the 20th of May. They will be judged on creativity, execution, difficulty and on how aesthetically pleasing they are out of 10. This means that you will have to get creative to get the most points. We look forward to seeing all of your submissions and can’t wait for the night of the 23rd of May to be able to show off some of your hard work!!!

14.01.2022 KL Rovers went bowling this week, a fun night run by Cameron. Strikes, spares and a strong pattern of sevens filled up the scoreboard for the two games with two lanes.
13.01.2022 So 2 weeks ago some of our KL Rovers along side our Ventures volunteered their early Sunday mornings for the Iron Man 70.3 in Penrith! It was a long but very enjoyable day for all. Hope we can do more fundraisers in the future to prepare for our up coming moot! Thanks again to Alyson for organising us even though she had work! Also shout out to Natalie and Dale who were also there in the morning! #KLRC #RoversDoStuff #Fundraiser #ironman703 #tired #sydneyinternationalregattacentre #penrith #bestbaconandeggrollever #worthit
11.01.2022 With the current challenges presented by Covid 19, It is important that you have a laugh and (Virtually) hang out with your mates every once and a while. Although not the program we originally planed, We have radically change up how we meet and completely gone online, With Zoom "face to face" chats for important meetings, and Discord calls that we use for our weekly hangouts / keeping in contact. Last week we had a "How to use Discord" session and then put those skills to wor...k with online Cards against Humanity. Tonight, we played Jack-box Party Pack on Jack-box TV. We've also set up a Mine-craft Survival World sever to fill the sense of adventure we miss (then added a "Small" Creative touch) We are Also very Proud of our very own Alex Hourd who is taking over the role of GWS Region Rovers Treasure for 2020 from our one and only Jayden William. (as of the regions ARP last Wednesday) How Ever tough this year has started, we will get through it, and we Look forward to creating many more Memories. Just like these ones put together by Courtney Elliott (from Nepean Rovers & 2019 GWS Region Rovers PR & Internet) https://www.facebook.com/courtney.elliott.94/videos/2887702757979987/?t=0 #RoversDoStuff #RoversStillDoingStuff #KLRC #KingsLangleyRovers #GetingTechy #Proud #2020
