24.01.2022 As part of our ongoing commitment to representing, supporting and promoting our members and the family day care sector, we're pleased to announce that our 2019-...2020 national regional television campaign has begun. The campaign, which will appear on screens across Australia on the WIN TV network until the end of January 2020, will promote family day care as an early childhood education and care option of choice for families searching for child care and will also highlight family day care as a career opportunity.

19.01.2022 I love school holidays it's a great time to get out and learn about different things. 1 week down and 1 to go.

19.01.2022 A spontaneous visit to the school's veggie garden resulted in an hour visit and some wonderful learning.

18.01.2022 We walk past this drain everyday at school but today it was very interesting. I asked the children what they could see water said 1 child, leaves another said, turtle said the first. They all looked in silence at what I'm not sure but they were mesmerized.

17.01.2022 We read in different places inside the house but not regularly outside as it's often a high energy time outside. Today we had a quiet moment on the grass reading Wombat Stew not once but 3 times and I have a feeling we'll be reading it again before the end of the day.

12.01.2022 This was going to be cloud dough then I realised after we started mixing that I didn't have enough cornflour. The children were very happy with this result.

09.01.2022 We have been watching these beans grow for several weeks from seeds into beans that the children picked, washed and enjoyed today. Words that were used to describe the beans included jucie, crunchy, fresh and delicious.

05.01.2022 Ive been to many playgroups during my time as a parent and a family day care educator. Today we visited a new nature play playgroup (today was there 1st session) and we loved it. Looking forward to next week's adventures already.
