21.01.2022 I recently found out I was a diabetic. Of course now I have to watch my diet and find alternatives and healthy ways of getting some sweetness. I'm finding there are heaps of ways mainly through fruit. Anyway this morning I made this smoothie. Haven't found a name for it, but it's delicious and healthy to boot. Mind you it sounds totally strange, but it is good. Get 2 cups of spinach, half a cup of strawberries, 1 banana, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder and 1 cup of almond or soy milk. Put it all in the blender and blend until it's smooth. Note you can add ice if you like. And WALAH!! 02.01.2022 Ochre Bowl, Castlemaine slate. Beautiful textured rock perfect for this ochre bowl. It will sit on top of a Castlemaine slate rock stand permanently inset into the ceremonial area. The idea is for it to accompany a fire pit, our Crow, (Was) and Lyrebird (Buln Buln) relief sculpture for First Nation ceremonies. The ochres can be mixed in the bowl then the people attending can be invited by the First Nation hosts to participate and be a part of each important ceremony. This rock was sitting on the ground and because it had been raining a little there was water in the bowl and this little bird decided to bath itself in it. The bird just loved it and was chirping happily and looked so happy. Haha!
