22.01.2022 I am fortunate enough to have had a ‘in the right place at the right time’ moment happen to me at the start of the year, where I was working on a project for Children’s Health Queensland when COVID-19 hit. So instead of suffering when my business started slowing down, I was busy in their offices 3-days a week doing COVID-19 designs as well as the occasional other flyer/poster/fact-sheet/website refresh/infographic/strategic-plan or what ever was required. It turned into an am...azing five months of part-time work! I continued to run my business as well and worked on a few fun projects including Toowoomba Region Youth Connect boredom busters booklet (three 28pp issues!), an isometric illustration for Drake Energy & Maritime Consulting, some cute wombat illustrations for Ipswich West State School and a logo/label for Sable Brewery. Considering beer labels was a bit of an interest for me way back in my uni days, I was delighted this one came my way. http://kmay.com.au/design/
