25.01.2022 Young, focused, passionate!! For just over 12 months now I have been lucky enough to work with this young girl to help her reach her goals in Dirt Track, Flat ...track, Super Moto, road Racing and now Motorcross aswell. We are finally starting to see her push herself more and the strength is starting to come with it. Unfortunately this year hasn’t been great for her as all events so have have been cancelled or dates changed due to covid. But we have been working really hard off the bike and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together See more

25.01.2022 Saturday we made the trip to Gunnedah for the week of speed twilight meeting. Unfortunately the event was cut short due to they had to get the helicopter in after a racing incident but I would like to thank the Gunnedah club for making the correct decision it was a hard decision but definitely the correct one. But as for Katarna’s efforts in the girls 85cc class Katarna and another rider bashed bars from start to finish and both races Katarna was piped at the line and finis...hed 2,2 2nd overall as for the boys 85cc class we think she finished 5th After doing close on 600k and two trips to Lithgow on Friday Emily was allowed to do her first race on a oil track and she absolutely loved it. 21.01.2022 Gunnedah held their second club day on Sunday. So we made the early morning trip for the girls first race in 17 weeks due to stupid COVID-19. Katarna was extremely relaxed knowing it was just a practice run for us before the Aussies in September, so there was no sign of pre race nerves which was a welcomed change. 20.01.2022 What a weekend. We made the trip to Quirindi For the NSW Senior Long Track Titles. Katarna was entered in two support classes the Junior 250 and 85cc. But it was a weekend that everything just went upside down. Katarna was keen to get the 250 out and have a crack on the long Track (760m) but due to mechanical issues she was ruled out before the practice ( The joys of racing on a budget ). So she was only able to compete on the 85. Due to the size of the track I had concern...s of her blowing the bike up as she has done this before at the Grasstree Beach races with a track the same size and only two weeks until the NSW Junior Track Titles. So we geared the bike on the safe side and Katarna ran a respectable 6th all weekend. 20.01.2022 Gunnedah held there double header this weekend with round 4 & 5 of the club championship and the last race weekend before the State Titles Saturday Katarna on her 85cc rode well considering the lack of bike time and gap between race weekends and finished 2,3,2,2,2 and placed 2nd for the day. On the 250cc Katarna finished 8,8,8,8,7 and placed 8th overall ... Sunday Katarna on the 85cc today was back in her grove and finished 2,2,2,2,2 and placed 2nd overall. 18.01.2022 2020 MOTOSTARS NATIONALS CALENDAR RELEASED! MotoStars, in conjunction with Motorcycling Australia, are pleased to announce the official Motostars Nationals 20...20 calendar featuring the Australian Junior Road Racing Championship (AJRC) and the Australian Supermoto Championship (ASMC). With the experience gained in 2019, MotoStars has moved to reduce the number of separated rounds and combine both the AJRC and ASMC Championships into the MotoStars Nationals - where both disciplines will run at the same events. This event template was used to great effect at last year’s final round in Proserpine, QLD and will be the format moving forward in 2020. The calendar delivers a new look three-round series, returning to the venues most popular with riders and entrants alike. Round 1 will kick off at Pacific Park International Raceway, NSW, on the 23/24th of May featuring Port Macquarie’s brand new resurfaced road race circuit, and purpose built Supermoto section, ensuring spectators a weekend they’ll never forget! The MotoStars Nationals will head south to Newcastle, in NSW, for Round 2 on the 20/21st of June- returning to riders favourite Cameron Park, located just an hour and a half north of Sydney. To close off a fantastic 2020 season, as we did in 2019, the MotoStars Nationals will finish in the north of Queensland, at the Whitsunday Moto Sports Club - motorcycles, Proserpine Raceway, on the 28/29th of November - ending the season in style with celebrations to top all others! Motostars Director, Damian Cudlin, is elated with the announcement of the 2020 dates, stating: This calendar has been in planning for a long time, and we needed to consult with a number of hosts who eagerly wanted the MotoStars Nationals featuring at their venues in 2020, which is very positive. In the end, we decided to form a calendar that suited our riders, their entrants and their families. Having two rounds on the east coast of New South Wales makes our series more affordable for the majority of our competitors, and finishing in the Whitsundays at the end of the year creates the perfect holiday event we are aiming for. 18.01.2022 It was 13 weeks to the day since Katarna was last on a race track so we took the gamble and made the trip to Gunnedah for their Ride Park day but unfortunately Mother Nature had other ideas and washed the day out. But we new the risk and it was a 50/50 chance at best when we left home but after walking the track I can definitely say the club made the correct decision. 15.01.2022 It has been a extremely long week in this house since last Saturday due to Katarna’s knee and not knowing what the problem is. Between seeing three different doctors, Physiotherapists and getting X-rays done. With a new potential problem every time it has been a little frustrating and a lot to take in for a 14 year old. But the MRI was done today and has comeback all positive the result being bone bruising and some minor soft tissue damage. No surgery required just need some rest, physio and some time off the bike and we should be good for 2021

14.01.2022 What a week it has been we are currently in Tamworth for the last race weekend of the year the NSW Junior Track Titles and it is a scorching 40deg . Katarna was entered in 4 classes but we dropped the 250 support class due to the heat. First race of the day katarna dropped her leg mid turn and caught her heel in the dirt which has twisted her Knee the ambulance officer ruled her ok to continue if she wanted to. So we dropped out of all her classes apart from the Girls 85 . ...The titles were meant to be over 5 rounds but due to the heat they canceled round 4 . Girls 85 - 2,2,1,_,2 and finished 2nd overall We spoke with the ambulance officer again after racing and a fresh set of eyes has suggested Katarna has done her ACL so we will be off for a MRI on Monday. Which we took the pleasure of picking up on Friday. So today we had to go and give the new toy a run out at Louee Enduro and Motocross Complex. 11.01.2022 Gunerdah Presentation and Christmas party Katarna had a very consistent year and we where a little surprised to receive a invite to the presentation’s. But Katarna is now 85cc 11-U16 Club Champion ... And the surprise of the night was Katarna being awarded the 2020 Junior Of The Year Award . Which I can honestly say it left her a little speechless. Massive thanks has to go the the Gunnedah Club and there army of helpers. In what has been a trying year with Covid and Rain you guys have still manage to run a fantastic club and we are happy to call it our home track. 09.01.2022 Katarna Robinson 2020 Junior Girls 11-U16 NSW Dirt Track Champion 11-U16 Girls 85cc - 1,1,1,1,2 - 1st ... 12-U16 85 cc 7,8,6,8,8 - 8th 13-U16 250cc 6,8,6,8,4 - 14th Katarna has successfully defended her 2019 Junior Dirt Track Title and now 2020 Junior Girls Champion. Katarna was possibly one of the crowded favorites with the way she handled her self both on and off the bike 12-U16 85cc Katarna’s goal was to finish in the top ten she is over the moon with her result finishing 8th 13-U16 250cc What can I say her goal was to make the final 12 out of 17 riders and to be honest with the class of riders in the field it was going to be hard but after the first four rounds she missed out on the top ten by 2 points. So she had to go through repechage which is a race where the top two place getters go through to the final 12. Unfortunately Katarna got a bad start but made the ground up but had a couple of moments and missed the final. The part that surprised us the most was the raw emotion shown when she missed the final. But that’s racing and it will definitely drive her to do better. But as parents we couldn’t be prouder of her effort this weekend. 09.01.2022 Gunnedah held their third club day today. So we made the early morning trip for Katarna’s first race in 7 weeks due to stupid COVID-19 and the ever changing rules. Katarna went out and did her practice run with a new rear wheel set up and struggled for drive out of the corners but 40psi in the rear wheel will do that. Katarna’s first two races on the 85cc she had a good battle and finished 2nd in both races but the 3rd race she pushed a bit hard at the top of the straight a...nd slid out but she got up dusted her self off and finished 5th. 06.01.2022 Over the weekend we made the 6.5 hour trip to Macleay ( Kempsey ) for there ride park day Saturday and State Title practice on Sunday. Katarna had a good weekend on both the 250cc and 85cc getting both bikes lap times down around 26.5sec. We had a couple of minor problems with both bikes but we will fix that up and be ready for the state titles at the end of the month Also this year has been a upside down year and probably one to forget but the upside to the year has been Kat...arna’s attitude and confidence to racing with the boys.
