02.01.2022 Danielle & Nick rocking their wedding day at Mali Brae. Had the best day but read on what had happened. Every couple should approach their wedding day like these troopers "What will be will be - but we'll enjoy it anyway, it's our wedding day!". Faced with one of the most extreme weather days I think I've ever had to deal with, temps above 40 degrees, smoke haze from many bush fires in the area and windy to top it all off. Danielle & Nick weren't deterred at all. Then it all ...changed...due to the huge fire at Bargo, the Hume Highway was closed just north of us and some guests and our celebrant were a bit delayed. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse and now a little more concerning - a fire broke out only a few km's away from us just before the ceremony and I must commend Shel & Greg and all their amazing staff from Mali Brae Farm in keeping us informed, calm and getting their evacuation plan sorted. Luckily the southerly change arrived and cooled things down to the point where we were freezing cold - seriously give these guys a break. But as I mentioned Danielle & Nick rolled with the punches and had the most amazing day. Was the most perfect day working along side the amazing photographer Chris from Red Berry Photography (Berry NSW) And being apart of my beautiful cousins wedding Congratulations again Danielle Evelyn and nick
