23.01.2022 Hold the Justin Gargula

23.01.2022 This is a great apartment in a fantastic spot...

22.01.2022 After a couple of recent cuts, rates stay put for August.

22.01.2022 Happy to announce our support/sponsorship of the 46th Tasar Sailing Nationals along with our friends at Chadwick Accountants. Good luck to Tim OShea who will be sailing off Largs Bay between the 6th & 12th January 2019. http://www.tasar.org//01/46th-tasar-nationals-adelaide.aspx

21.01.2022 An interesting article from the Australian which touches on distribution of wealth amongst other things. A bit political perhaps but given upcoming election thats probably par for the course. I do tend to think the term big end of town is often misused by politicians to try and win votes. Lots of talk about the banking royal commission and who voted for/against. From what weve seen, that RC actually helped the big four (fair to say the big end of town), given rise in bank share prices so personally dont see why its been mentioned by Labor in lots of their ads. While were at it not sure why the Libs show footage of Shorten doing his Run Forrest impression either!!

21.01.2022 Nice of one of my Eyre Peninsula based clients to drop off some local products, just in time for pizza & Friday night footy.

19.01.2022 Well done to all involved, very proud to be associated with such a remarkable club.

18.01.2022 Any BankSA customers heading to the Royal Adelaide Show be sure to check out these offers https://www.banksa.com.au//co/community-partnerships/show

18.01.2022 We are helping in a small way by "funding" the Dunk Tank on the night so please get along to Henley Oval on Friday Night, watch some cricket, have a drink & raise some funds for a great cause. You might even be able to dunk someone you know on the dunk tank!

18.01.2022 NZ rate update...

18.01.2022 Seemingly everyday another article is written questioning the recommendation of the Banking Royal Commission with regard to mortgage brokers. Unfortunately Hayne only took the word of very compromised "experts" who were only really looking to save a buck for one of their big 4 banks. Maybe a RC into the banking RC might be in order?

17.01.2022 Cricket trials for next seasons teams start very soon down at West Torrens District Cricket Club, we are proud sponsors at this fantastic family club.

17.01.2022 Proud to again be nominated as a Finalist for the Australian Finance Groups awards. Thanks to Evan Sendy & Lee Squeo and Justin Gargula for their input.

16.01.2022 Good news, will be interesting to see what the banks do with that. Pass it on or pocket it??

16.01.2022 Just a little heads up if your are looking at applying for a loan, please dont have any afterpay purchases outstanding. >

15.01.2022 Well done Harry!

15.01.2022 Im not going to mention any names here but while it does often make me giggle, Ive had to explain to banks that perhaps all is not what it seems with the narration of some transactions!! If some of them were true Id possibly need to reassess my client base due to some rather interesting services being rendered.

12.01.2022 A little bit of help with some real estate/financial jargon...

12.01.2022 Justin Gargula at Grange Home Loans just posted a couple of interesting articles and provides very good commentary of the situation.

11.01.2022 Well done to the MFAA for calling out the CBA (whos behavior in the past has been rather questionable on a number of fronts) on their recent submission. CBA did try and go alone when Brokers first came into the market about 20 years ago (roughly the same time we wrote our first loans as KMS). After realizing that Brokers were helping smaller banks into the market (like ING & Bank West) and actually treated clients as people rather than numbers they quickly came crawling back. Im confident that our clients see value in what we do and probably would be happy paying a fee for our services, however Id also assume that theyd prefer the banks do it instead!! https://www.mfaa.com.au//CBA-proposals-focused-on-profit-n

11.01.2022 Certainly nice to get this feedback! When dealing with Kent you are valued as a client and he is there to get the outcome you require, we were felt at ease by the fact that we could take our time through the process and look over our documents without being pressured to sign straight away without fully understanding what we were signing. Kent was always available on the phone or email when we had a query and his knowledge and attention to detail is second to none. More than happy to recommend Kent to anyone looking for a Mortgage specialist.

10.01.2022 Anyone looking for a world class show at a local (if u are in the western suburbs) venue this Saturday night? Heres your answer...

10.01.2022 Great initiative AFG (Australian Finance Group)

09.01.2022 Hopefully we cover these areas well...

09.01.2022 A great cause & some great fun to be had with West Torrens District Cricket Club going pink in January... Donate at https://fundraise.mcgrathfoundation.com.au//pink-stumps-day or join in the fun at one of the games!

08.01.2022 If anyone looking to support a worthwhile cause and watch what promises to be a very competitive T20 game as well as some quality fun for the kids then keep the 18th January free and get down to Henley oval.

07.01.2022 Indeed, fair play to the (major) banks if they manage to pull this off.

06.01.2022 Just another opinion from someone, who is far more qualified that Hayne with regard to the finance sector, taking a swipe at the recommendations from the RC with regard to the finance broking sector. Hopefully the leaders of the Labor party are getting the message just as their Liberal counterparts already have.

06.01.2022 A great opportunity exists to get your company logo on our Mens T20/One day playing tops. Our mens team is looking like being super competitive in the short f...orms of the South Australian Cricket Association so if youd like to get some great exposure contact the club via email ([email protected]). Tell a friend! See more

05.01.2022 If you have a spare minute, follow the link and send a message to your local politician telling them you prefer small business rather than a return to the bad old days with little competition, higher rates and generally getting screwed over! https://www.keepcompetitionalive.com.au/

03.01.2022 Good landlord too!

03.01.2022 A few things are changing with regard to what can/cant be claimed as a property investor...

03.01.2022 Was a pleasure to be involved with the Australian Tasars National Championship. Especially the Bogan Bingo night!!

02.01.2022 Good coverage here Justin Gargula. End might be a bit forceful but certainly change the landscape and I certainly cant see how anyone will gain, especially property owners with home loans which Id suggest make up a fair bit of the working class. Banks will win, big ones especially, brokers will push forward and I can only see the general public copping it on lending rates and new fees and most likely reduced (good) advice and service. Those that can afford to employ a broker if fee for service is the end game will be in a good position too. Much like those who can afford & choose to use other specialized fields. Rich get richer??

01.01.2022 As Justin Gargula at Grange Home Loans has pointed out in his post, most banks are coming out with some measures that may help you through the next few months. Yell out if you need any further info but most banks are making it relatively easy to do things via their internet banking sites. Make sure u read the fine print. Also remember if you ring that their call centers are really under the pump so be patient.
