After canapés on the Founders Lounge deck we enjoyed wonderful service and food at the Kiosk, then a cruise on around Cowan Creek, before afternoon tea on the pizza deck. Thanks to everyone who made this such a successful day!
21.01.2022 RSVP for End of Season celebration extended to Monday 13th May. Band won’t start until 8.30pm so quiet background music before then will mean you’ll be able to chat easily with friends. And don’t feel you have to dress in theme. Just come along and catch up with members you haven’t seen for a while. You never know, you may even be up for an award!
20.01.2022 Australia Day Update Hi all we have had a huge response to the number of boats wanting to be included in the raft up which is great. What this means is that we will need to work on first come and actual size basis for positioning so a bit more work in terms of building of the physical weekend raft up. If we exceed the 27 boats we believe can fit, our worst-case will be to either anchor off or to use your KMYC mooring and dinghy across. For those wanting to just come for the... day we will allocate space as available or anchor off. We still welcome all boats and we will attempt to raft up everyone so please come across and checkout where we are at in terms of numbers. Would you please note a change of sailing Master for the day. Could boats please call Richard Hunt on Hoistaway on VHF 73 for instructions. If you don’t have VHF call the fleet on 27 Meg and one of the boats already there will pick up. Happy Australia Day!

17.01.2022 The saluting vessel for KMYC Season Opening Day Sail Past this Saturday 15th September is the beautiful Halvorsen Bridgedecker Kalinda, lovingly restored by long-standing member John Spry, daughter Kitty Spry and partner Jen Redston. Kalinda is featured in the current issues of Rex Airlines True Blue magazine and Alliance Airlines @alliance_mag. The story tells how John and late wife Debbie rescued the boat from the US, nearly lost her on arrival in Australia, found evidence she changed hands via a craps game and has featured in two Aussie TV shows. Read the story in the link, which features quotes from KMYC members Bob Allan and Cathy Astridge. #Halvorsen Sydney Classic Boat Charters #PublishingByChelle
