11.01.2022 We are so proud to have lovely Alice as the newest member of our therapy team. Alice is a 4 year old Quarter Horse cross Clydesdale. She will start her training next year to become an accredited hippotherapy horse.

10.01.2022 Did you know Hippotherapy (from the Greek 'hippos', meaning horse) literally means treatment with the horse. It is carried out by specially trained Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist. Hippotherapy can develop postural control, equilibrium reactions, balance, and co-ordination. There are also psychological, speech, language and cognitive benefits. Knead Rehab offer Hippotherapy sessions on Wednesdays and Saturdays at Burpengary RDA. Volunteers are always welcome.
