21.01.2022 I am now just one week away from completing my degree from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. As such, I will be re-branding to a new identity that reflects my focus on Health & Wellness (not just personal training), and therefore this page will no longer be active. I'm not quite ready yet to show you, but keep an eye out and please like and follow my new page.

16.01.2022 I have some exciting news to share with you.... In 6 weeks I will complete my studies and become a certified Health and Wellness Coach. This opens up a whole range of additional complimentary services that I can provide, but the most exciting aspect of this is all the knowledge and information that I have collected along the way! As a result, keep an eye out as KnewStart shortly rebrands to reflect these additional services. In the meantime, I have received my certification ...to start working with clients NOW so I am looking for clients that are ready to start their Health & Wellness journey, and would like to take up a FREE health history consultation. This can be done face-to-face or over Skype. Consultations take 1 hour in the privacy of my home (and yours if over Skype). Client records are strictly confidential and I will respect your privacy in a very professional manner. My role as a health coach will be to play a supportive role through guiding and empowering you to reach personal wellness goals by implementing lifestyle and behavioural changes. I can help with: weight management, energy, better sleep, food cravings, stress management, digestion, healthier diet choices, clean eating, detoxing, and more! 09.01.2022 Self care gets easily pushed to the side with us all having such busy lives but self care has so many benefits with a few being; balancing our hormones, reduce our stress, assist with weight loss, increase metabolism and being the best we can. Finding time to fit it all in can be extremely difficult, so selecting 1 self-care ritual is a great place to start. I am a perfectionist in many things that i do (especially housework) and this can add a lot of stress when you are time poor so this week I am choosing my self-care ritual to be making a conscious effort to act imperfectly. What is your self-care ritual going to be?

03.01.2022 Some very useful information here. Personally I don't include wholegrains or refined carbohydrates in my diet as I have found the my bodies digestion works optimally without them. I consume my carbohydrates through fresh and wholesome fruits and vegetables and this provides me with sufficient energy even on the days that i exercise more intensely. I am not in a position to tell someone whether they should or should not eat grains because it is different for everyone and that is where bio-individuality comes into play. How does your body respond to grains?
