25.01.2022 HAPPY EASTER!! If youve got kids like our tribe, you will have been up for hours... Remember, lots of coffee...

24.01.2022 Q and A: Your big questions answered Theres a lot to know about loans, especially if youre taking one out for the first time. Over the next few days Ill be answering some of the common ones, and hope theyre some of yours... How much can I borrow?... Unfortunately, the answer to this one is Depends! It differs from lender to lender and can vary quite a bit (depending on their criteria, income, the type of property etc), so its really worth shopping around. How much you can borrow also depends on the size of your deposit and can change if you have existing equity in a property. See more

24.01.2022 There's nothing wrong with debt, and many of us will need to take it on at some point in our lives. But it can cost you so much more than it needs to. If you're one of the many people who avoid talking about debt, then it's even more important that you do! And, if you're looking to buy a home, and feel your existing debt is stifling your savings goals, then it may be time to get in touch to discuss your options.

18.01.2022 When you need to secure finance, its hard to know where to start. A mortgage broker can guide you through the home loan process and provide you with information and support to help you make the right decision when it comes to your loan. Understand how a broker can help you throughout the loan process by looking at each step below. https://www.loanmarket.com.au//the-loan-process-explained-

18.01.2022 Q and A: Your big questions answered Question #4 How is interest calculated? Your bank will take the outstanding loan amount at the end of each business day and multiply it by the interest rate that applies to your loan, then divide that amount by 365 days (or 366 in a leap year). It will then charge the interest to you monthly.

17.01.2022 BUSTED!! Refinancing is by no means a magic wand that waves away debt and mortgage stress in a poof of glitter. It can, however, be an excellent way to save in the long-run. Dont hesitate to contact me if youre thinking of refinancing, I will be happy to help you navigate the maze of options and let you know whether your current loan is still suitable, or if there are better options out there. You literally have nothing to lose, but interest repayments!

17.01.2022 Budgeting is perhaps one of the least sexy topics out there. But you know what's less attractive? Running out of money. Feeling financially out-of-control. Being a slave to credit card debt. And when it comes to applying for a home loan, knowing where your money goes makes you a much more attractive proposition to the banks.

15.01.2022 Q and A: Your big questions answered Question #2 How much of a deposit do I need? Again depends! It depends on how much you want to borrow. If youve got a fair chunk of the deposit already saved, I can negotiate a lower interest rate for you. Generally, most banks want 3%-5% genuine savings thats regular savings in your bank account for at least three months.

08.01.2022 Wondering where your money's going? You might be surprised at how much is being leaked on subscriptions, especially the ones you'd planned to cancel within the trial period. Here's your friendly reminder to check your bank statement and do a stocktake of whether you actually need each and every one of these subscriptions. Even a $39 subscription is $468 over the course of a year, and it makes sense you'd keep this money in your pocket, rather than donate it to someone else.... When deciding what to keep and what to cancel, work out the cost per use to get a good gauge on whether it's worth it.
