14.01.2022 Case Study 1 Oscar is a very stressy, highly strung Irish Sports horse who hunts with the Beaufort and finds it difficult to keep weight on in the winter. He is however very talented in all disciplines and always tries to please. Despite his faults, very loveable. He requires sedation for clipping which still results in kicking out when clipping his quarters area, calming bites for extra concentration, has be tied up to be worked around and is generally tight accross his top... line. Following one session of Equissage Pulse: * Oscar accepted the pad straight away without any resistance. * He stood loose with the rope over his neck. * His eyes were soft & he was licking & chewing. He was yawning his head off! * The handheld unit could be held over his thigh areas without kicking out. * Oscars face truly showed how much he was benefiting and enjoying the treatment by turning away to stretch his neck muscles, he moved his front legs apart to allow the unit to be used down and around his chest area. * He even looked disappointed when the treatment had finished. * The next day he appeared more chilled to handle in the stable. * He felt relaxed and softer through his longissimus dorsi muscles (back) & generally felt more free in his movement. 05.01.2022 Oscar who is on box rest due to a hunting injury benefiting from a massage today to improve circulation, relaxing muscle spasms and to relieve his tension in his neck. He feels very tight and I have some work to do. X
