07.01.2022 It was October 13, 1307, when by the order of the King of France Philip I of Nice his men arrested hundreds of Templars Knights and handed them over to the Inquisition in order to be forced by torture to confess false cult acts and executed. This was a plot of the king to cover up his huge financial misunderstandings and discredit & dismantle the mighty Christian Order of the Temple Knights, which had gained huge recognition & influence. But the Templars were heroes and dear ...to the people and to achieve such a scheme, the King of France needed a strong accomplice, who was finally found and was none other than concerned about the power of the Order, Pope Climi V - was with his own cooperation that managed to set up the false indictment so that the king could complete his plans. The Grand Master (bad Greek translation of Grand Maitre ", meaning Great Ruler / Chief ) of the Jacques De Molais Temple, shortly before leaving his last breath at the stake on March 18, 1314 ( after 7 whole years of horrible captivity, torture, etc), cursed King Philip and Pope asking God to punish them and at the same time predicted that within year, both would be dead (and to the surprise of all, the two men ONCE died before a year passed)... The Order of the Knights Templar, a Order of Christian monks-warriors who dedicated their lives to Christianity & GOODNESS and protected with their BLOOD, not just the Holy Land and pilgrims them but also every wronged / devastated person who needed them, did NOT end with the death of the Brothers of France. Despite the evil plan of the two men, most of the about 3000 French Temple Knights managed to escape by taking with them the fortune of the Order and relocated to other, more welcoming countries (such as Portugal) where, with the same or another name of Order, they continued their work. In fact, according to records and testimonies, after the persecution there continued to be about 15 THOUSAND Templar Houses in various countries, despite the myth that wants Templar history to end with the execution of a large number of Knights by the French king. Noteworthy is that just recently, the Vatican acknowledged injustice against the Knights Templar and the untruth of the accusations but the black page written and watered with the blood of the unjustly & brutally tortured Brothers will forever remain in mind of all of us to remind the atrocities caused by greed, dogmatism and obscureness.
