24.01.2022 Sadly I have been in Bendigo for a funeral.......BUT my darling husband said to cheer me up he would take me to visit Bendigo Woollen Mills, little did I know it would be at 8pm! ( after visiting the Cathedral to see it lit up in a mesmerising blue haze to promote prostate cancer awareness.) Do you think my husband was sending me a message that my stash in outta control?

17.01.2022 Bendigo Wool & Sheep Show....yesterday Glynis and I trialled the Vline train & shuttle bus service to Bendigo Showgrounds, if you are planning to go next year we can thoroughly recommend it. Haven't heard of Glynis? Glynis works part time at Knit n Purl and is purple, everything owned and in Glynis's life is purple, today at BWSS there is no stock of purple at any stall it now resides at her homel.Later in the year you will be able to view Glynis's amazing purple knitted blanket at Dandenong Agricultural Show craft exhibit. :)

09.01.2022 Yesterday I went to Wangaratta Woollen Mills for the Guinness World record attempt to make the longest Pom Pom Garland ! what fun, what a lot of fibre and Yey the record was broken. If you would like to know anything about the manufacturing process pop into the shop, I did a mill tour so I can answer questions :) PS next year is going to be so exciting for Australian Country Spinners aka Patons, Cleckheaton & Panda

06.01.2022 YAHOO it's Bendigo Wool & Sheep Show Weekend...............Who is going??? It is the ultimate fibre fix. If you are planning on stashbusting it is the place for great ideas, and the sheepdog trials will keep any bored husbands entertained. See you all there :)

At KNP we have in stock a Knitters Pedometer ..Yes a row counter that straps onto your finger and is easily 'clicked' it keeps tally of those rows we don't want to lose track of or have to frog... New in stock are the Patons Dreamtime 4ply crochet baby book, Big baby Fair Isle 8ply and Boho knits for summer using Bohemia and Sorrento.... Pps don't tell there are lots of specials in-store this week.

04.01.2022 Today we have had added into stock the Addi de piller, haven't used a de piller ? it is for all those fuzz balls that appear on clothing etc, and make garments look tired and old. It is battery operated and comes with its own tiny little cleaning brush, there is a demo model in store !

01.01.2022 The most inspirational item I saw at the wool show was worn by a lady in the crowd, when asked about her hat she explained it was hand knitted in China by a lady who sits outside a University entrance and sells them, it was maroon in colour and looked like a circle of knitted gothic archways surrounding the crown of the hat. What inspired you at Bendigo Wool Show!!!! Photos please.
