22.01.2022 I don't just do weddings.....I also do naming days!! For those who don't know what a naming day is, it's like a christening without the religion aspect. Not specific to children , I have done ones for adults who have changed their names also! This one was done for a little cutie pie named - Leo - on this year's leapday infront of all his family right before the lockdown.... This was a pretty special ceremony with Aunty Jasmine and Uncle Kole asked to be his godparents and to watch over him as he grows and teach him not to get into too much mischief. And if rumour has it Leo has just become a big brother, so hopefully in the not to distant future we can get to marry mum and dad like originally planned and meeting the newest addition to the Trusz family!! Thank you for letting me be apart of it all guys. Not all weddings are about ball gowns, horse drawn carriages, tuxs and fancy dinners on fine china.....some are just about 2 ppl who love each other quietly standing in front of a celebrant - saying the words, making your promises and saying your vows and then celebrating with their nearest and dearest. Such an amazin...g day that filled my heart with joy. Very relaxed, laughter and emotion filled and ppl doing it for the right reasons. The next elopement day is in March next year. Regardless of if it's inside or outdoors. The wedding industry is getting the info the same way you are....from the news. Please be kind to wedding vendors we're stressing out too.

They smiled ear to ear the entire time. 16.01.2022 Due to a Govt paperwork issue today's couple had to move their wedding forward by 8 months. None the less....today we will stand in a secret location in the sunshine joining them as husband and wife. They plan on doing a big party to let everyone know they are married a little further down the track so I cant show you their faces just yet - but i can asure you all they're grinning from ear to ear!!... 15.01.2022 Have been asked quite a few times for baby spam!! Elijah is 2.5 weeks now and we are slowly settling into a different kind of normal. Hes very alert and inquisitive - almost like hes trying to work out what you're all about. Loves car rides, the water & eating.....my god the eating!... I will be on maternity leave till the end of the year but am taking 2021 bookings. It's going to be a huge year with so many postponements due to the pandemic. 15.01.2022 This afternoon I had to deal with a rather unhappy lady who is quite insistant on eloping with more than the legally allowed guest numbers. Just to make the point perfectly clear the legal amount of persons in attendance is 5. The couple ... 2 witnesses in total over the age of 18 ( not 2 each ) And a celebrant That is it. I will not put myself or others in a compromised position. I will not risk myself or others getting sick. It's not just about the virus ....i would be risking my registration and we can all be smacked with massive fines. I will not do it. There are no "loopholes" on this and no extenuating circumstances. The number is 5. It's a brand new world out there. You can live stream / video the ceremony or postpone until the bans have been lifted but if I rock up and there are more ppl than allowed I will ask the extras to remove themselves or leave myself. Thank you to all those who follow the rules xx

So many rescheduled or cancelled ceremonies mixed in with maternity leave has meant that alot of what was supposed to happen before Christmas is now happening next year. There's limited 2021 dates available but if you have one in mind PM me before someone else snatches up your date. Christmas/New years is prime engagement season and these couples ARE ORGANISED!!... In previous years ive been able to book 6 months solid in just a week..... Dont miss out.

13.01.2022 Hands up who remembers that awful day in January where the M1 was closed in both directions because a diesel tanker flipped over? Anyway " I Do " (haha see what I did there?) It also happened to be Jai and Aymal's wedding day. It took me 3 hours from Ipswich to Palm Beach but I was welcomed with open arms, smiling faces and a primo parking spot ( score!! )... We set up quickly while we waited for the rest of the Brissy guests arrived and we even beat the rain that was coming in! Once everyone had arrived and was seated it was time to get the show on the road in a short and sweet ceremony befitting the couple. With the formalities done and dusted it was time to break out the bubbles and nibbles and dance the evening away under the stars. The JP will verify your ID electronically and complete your certificate application.
