As per the Australian Bureau of Statistics health survey released in 2017, Of all people with diabetes, 84.8%... had consulted a GP in the last 12 months for their condition, 24.3% had consulted a specialist and how many consulted a diabetes educator? only 16.6% had consulted a diabetes educator !!! and that is the why of KNOWDIABETES - on a mission to elevate the value of structured diabetes education and role of Credentialled Diabetes Educators (CDEs) With more than 40 CDEs already registered on www.knowdiabetes.com.au to support people with diabetes, people now have an easy way to book video consultation sessions with a CDE from the comfort of home.
