23.01.2022 Hey All Stars - it is time to start planning for Winter Season! Please see below the Tryout Schedule - every existing player (under 10 - under 16) is required to attend Tryouts to be placed in a team for next season! The cut off for each age group is 30/06/2021 - so whatever age a player is at that date determines the age group that they play in next season. Please make sure you attend the session for the age group you will play in for the Winter season.... Registrations will open shortly. Go All Stars!

23.01.2022 Our first face to face Committee Meeting in a year!! A huge shout out to this group of amazing volunteers - who work tirelessly to make sure 450 + players take to the court each week! They give up so much time to make our club the great community that it is! Go All Stars!

23.01.2022 FILL IN PLAYERS NEEDED! We have two teams needing fill in players tomorrow - if there are any under 12 boys who are able to play a second game tomorrow please let us know! The games are as follows:... 14.6 @ 2.00pm at Knox Basketball Stadium 14.7 @ 2.15pm at Knox Basketball Stadium! Great chance to get some extra court time early in the year and help your club mates out! Please comment if you might be able to help and we will get in touch!

13.01.2022 Hey All Stars! Two things regarding Tryouts: 1: Can all players please wear their All Stars jersey to Tryouts!... 2: Rowville Community Centre still has capacity limits of 50 per court so please only one parent per player and limit siblings wherever possible! We will have lots of coaching staff to supervise the sessions! Thanks and enjoy Tryouts!

13.01.2022 Hi All, We are all very lucky to be a member of this great club who over the last 8 months, during such uniquely uncertain times, have continued to engage with members in lots of different forms, through our committee and volunteers. We believe we have been the most active of all domestic clubs during this time and as a result of this we are ready to hit the courts on Saturday with almost 400 playing members in 56 teams, which is an unbelievable effort from everyone including... you. To run a club of this size and maintain a high level of professionalism we require about 90-100 volunteers, which by my bad attempt at maths is about 1 volunteer for every 4 players. Pretty amazing. These volunteers consist of: Committee Sub Committee Coordinators Coaches Assistant coaches Team Managers. All these positions are all volunteer and unpaid and we all do it for the love of the game and to see kids enjoying themselves and learning to play in a great team environment. So please, if you see these volunteers thank them for all the hard work they do and continue to do for this amazing club. If you feel you could help fill some of these positions please contact us and we will welcome you into the team. Coordinators in particular are very sought after. You don't need to know everything about the game just be able to communicate with coaches and members. Coaches are always needed and if you are interested in the future please let us know and we can pair you up with an experienced coach to get you ready for future seasons. Now with running such a large club mistakes and oversights can happen. This is all unintentional and we always do our best to reach a better outcome. If you happen to have an issue please let us know but keep your communication polite and understanding and we will try our best to come to a suitable outcome. Please keep in mind that our committee members also work full time and could take time to get back to you. If you can't keep it as polite as we wish please feel free to email myself Glen Bond [email protected] or phone 0400 027 023 as that is one of my positions on the committee. Now it's time to hit the court and please remember the reason kids are playing is for fun, encourage this especially over the next few rounds as skill levels may be a little rusty and lets celebrate kids getting back into such an awesome team environment. 12.01.2022 Hey All Stars! Hope you have all enjoyed the holidays! Please see the confirmed Training Schedule for the Season. Training officially commences next week BUT due to the public holiday and lots of families being away for a long weekend not all teams will train. If you haven't had confirmation, please check in with your Coach/Team Manager to confirm if your team will be training!... Games restart on Saturday 30th January. We are looking forward to a fun, full year of basketball this year and cannot wait to see you all out there on the court!

09.01.2022 Hey All Stars - we do not yet have official communications from Knox Basketball or Basketball Victoria however it is quite clear that basketball games will not go ahead tomorrow and any training for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week will be cancelled. We will post the official notices here when they come through. Please stay safe and look after each other. If the Committee can help in any way, even beyond basketball - please reach out. Our community is strong - we've got this!

01.01.2022 IMPORTANT - Training Update! Teams who train at Rowville Eastern Campus and Rowville Western Campus will not be able to train until the week commencing 1/2/2021. We apologise for providing the incorrect start date in the previous post.
