10.01.2022 We are sadly going into hibernation... To our wonderful loyal and very valued patients, These past few weeks have not been easy on any of us. We have been doing everything we possibly can to stay open and continue to provide treatment to everyone who needs it in these unprecedented times. In spite of all of the measures we have put in place, last night we were forced to come to very difficult decision. ... After the last patient on Saturday 4th April 2020 we have decided to put the clinic into hibernation. Its been 31 years since Jon and Virginia first opened the business and there has never been a week where we have closed entirely. As most of you know, trying to pull Jon away from treating patients is an almost impossible task. But these are unprecedented times and our priority has and always will be the health and wellbeing of our patients and staff. We feel now that as this pandemic continues to escalate, keeping our doors open places too great a risk on our patients, staff and the wider community. How long will we be closing for? For the time being, we are unsure of the answer to this question. We will continue to update you via email and social media as to when we feel that it is safe for us to re-open. We will be beginning by calling every patient who has an appointment booked in the next month to advise them of this decision. Contacting your practitioner Although we are not able to see you physically, we want you to know that we are all here for you to provide advice and support through this difficult time. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the clinic and leave a message. We will be checking the messages daily and will refer your relevant question/ concern to your normal practitioner who will be able to contact you and address your concerns. What can we do without hands on treatment? There are many things that we can do to help you manage your pain/ condition through exercise, ergonomic and lifestyle advice. So please reach out to us. With more and more people working from home, Our advice and expertise still remains even if the current situation prevents us giving you hands on treatment. Even if you are in acute pain we can advise you on what to do and what not to do to help get you more comfortable and more mobile. We have spiky balls and theraband available for purchase at the clinic which are both brilliant tools for home exercises and releasing muscular trigger points. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call or email us. We are here to support you in every conceivable way through this crisis. We hope that it will not be long before we are able to open our doors again. We will miss seeing you all over the next month or so and the wonderful chats and laughs that you all provide us with. Our thoughts are with all of you at this incredible difficult time. Take care, Jon, Virginia and Chloe Pitcher
