19.01.2022 Knox Youth Services and EACH Community Health have worked on some projects at a number of Knox Primary and Secondary Schools. These project aim to yarn with and explore Culture with Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander students. Students have worked together with community members and organisations and local Indigenous Artists to develop a range of outcomes that help to celebrate Indigenous Culture within their schools. Being part of EAC is a great opportunity to be involved in local environmental issues; network with people working or studying in the area of sustainability or environmental management and have direct engagement with Council. EAC may consult on key issues such as: - Climate change - Environmental Management - Strategic transport - Natural resource management - Sustainability Applications are now open for EAC and close on the 26 November 2020.
