24.01.2022 Significant work in the 'bank' during 2nd half 2016 and expecting some Commonwealth Government announcements from early in 2017. Some very good projects for the Commonwealth to consider which would expand supply of much needed additional aged care services in Victoria, creating hundreds of much needed jobs. I thank my loyal clients who have provided me with some exciting work opportunities during 2016, and look forward to further successful collaborations in 2017 and beyond.... Very challenging year ahead for providers as they cope with Commonwealth Government funding cuts. Very happy to run the ruler over your businesses free of charge and make suggested improvements. We can then develop a plan of action and implement driving growth and improved profitability. Also, planning for 2017 Aged Care Approvals Round cannot commence soon enough. 16.01.2022 Congratulations to local clients who have been successful in having RAD cap lifted from $550K. No indexation on this one beggars belief. With 12% Commonwealth Government funding cut providers of residential aged care need to look at alternatives and increasing maximum permissible RAD one sensible option for those able and prepared to pay.

15.01.2022 Seems like the current Federal Government 'forgot' to run the 2017 Aged Care Approvals Round. Given the chaos that surrounds this administration, is it any wonder? Surely a Federal general election is required within the next 3 months to hopefully restore stability to Government and get on with job of nation building. We are however, fortunate to have a good core of public servants who manage to keep the wheels of government turning. Many of them former colleagues of min...e pre-1998. Cheers PK.

08.01.2022 The Federal Government has recently announced Aged Care Approvals Round (ACAR) will be advertised 2 July 2018 with a 5-6 week application phase. After considerable delay, this is an opportunity for current aged care approved providers to add value to their businesses and generate growth. Also an opportunity for new providers to compete and hit the ground running. 02.01.2022 Commonwealth Home Support Program Funding Round announcements overdue. Funding was scheduled to commence from February 2017 and yet no announcements on successful applicants yet. Funding agreements need to be entered into, staff employed, etc. Bureaucratic & political inertia holding this country back from delivering on its true potential. Get on with it!
