02.01.2022 Scotchgarding Carpet I just had a call regarding scotch garding carpet. The procedure for this is very simple but obviously it works best on dry clean carpet. Heres how you Scotchgard your own carpet: - Prepare and Protect all surrounding furnture and fabrics from overspray by placing towels or tarp down. - Shake can well and ensure product mixed.... - Spray on carpet area but be sure do be at least two fee above the carpet. - Do not walk on carpet and keep kids and pets off it until carpet is fully dry. - Once dry you can re-apply and let it dry. Your carpet should be scotchgarded now. When in doubt remember to always consult and Carpet Layer, Cleaner or expert in the field to be sure that the product your using is safe, correct and that you are using the correct processes. See more
