18.01.2022 What a weekend of events at the Koah Hall. We are literally jumping for JOY! From the natural silk dying workshop, to the "Jingle and Mingle" Members Christmas party, and Sunday's sound meditation the hall has been the place to be this weekend. We would like to thank everyone for all your efforts in making the Koah Hall such a thriving hub of our community.... To all the volunteers who donated their time or produce or both.. You all know who you are... THANK YOU ! and to our community we wish you all the very best for the festive season. PEACE LOVE JOY

17.01.2022 Hey guys over the last two weeks we have worked on the hall grounds tirelessly.. On the ark and secondly on the trees. I want to shout a massive THANK YOU! everyone who had helped but especially to Alicia Buckle for sourcing the oil and for all her hard work the ark looks Amazing !! Thanks to all who turned up on the weekend to help Jacob, @Marc Jashock and his wonderful woofers, Nicky Mckillop, Sarah Baxter, many hands do make light and beautiful work.. the playground was ...mulched the wood oiled. Also a big thanks to Sam and Jacob re doing the fire break to the property, and spending hours making sure the hall is safe and complient. Also a massive thank you to Duncan who came and helped Jacob cut down all the dead branches overhanging the playground with the EWP and other areas of the hall grounds ensuring the safety of all our children. Love the community contribution without which the hall would not be the wonderful community space it is! Well done everyone!

09.01.2022 Circus Show and Rola Disco at the Koah Hall in September 2020... What a fab couple of nights!! Looking at these leaves me warm and fuzzy.. And can't wait for term 4 to start.. 07.01.2022 Kathryn Riding and Gary Dozier present an evening of Kirtan & Mantra Music. Kathryn ~ a well known yoga instructor & Mantra singer from the Byron Bay area is touring north Qld for the first time. Suggested donation $15 ~ Beginners welcome!

05.01.2022 Do you use the Koah Hall playground ? Did you know the group that maintains it is purely volunteers? We are having a busy bee to clean and oil the wood of the Koah's Ark, and to re-mulch the playground and whilst we are at it we may sand and re-paint the outside hall doors.. ... We would love all hands on deck , to maintain and improve this wonderful community asset. That would be amazing !!! See you there Sat 17 and Sunday 18th October.. This will mean that the Playground will be closed from the 17th and whilst the oil settles into the wood for the better part of that week.

Koah Hall is located at 322 Koah Road in Musumeci Park, approximately 3km from the Koah roadhouse which is on the corner of Kennedy Highway and Koah Rd. If you are interested in using the hall or contacting the committee, please email [email protected]. If you want to know what's on or when the hall is available, check our online bookings calendar below:... https://teamup.com/ks3f81b8cdb5bd2d68 Hall hire fees can be paid in cash in person at the hall on the day, using the payment form and box located in the hall. Fees can also be paid in advance through online banking, but you will still need to provide us with your details on the payment form at the hall to confirm this on the day of use. Hire fees are: $10 +GST for 1-2 hours $30 +GST for a half day (morning, afternoon OR evening) $60 +GST for a full day** $110 +GST for a full day and evening (24 hour block)** Ticketed events have a different pricing structure. Please ask. **Full day ($66) and day and evening ($121) bookings also incur a $200 bond which must be paid at time of booking, and is fully refunded if the hall is left how you found it. 02.01.2022 Today we did all the mulching and cleaning for the wood tomorrow we need to oil the wood ... many hands make light work .. we are starting at 11 and if there are a few of us it may only take an hour or two .. anyone keen ?? bring a brush !!
