25.01.2022 Just a few shots of our lovely pets here at the park, our animals like to smile just as much as we do!

21.01.2022 So we have been here for a week, * had a crash course on running the park from Robyn and Steve (gorgeous people!!!) * coped with a deluge which nearly flooded the recreation room * survived our first catered camp, ... * are working intently on keeping the pool up to Steves standard, * Buzz, our dog, has collected over twenty tennis balls from around the property, * our Old English Game hen has hatched out three beautiful babies :), * Bozo, the cockatoo is starting to get used to strangers talking to him , * the dragons have taken up residence in the office, * Eeyore, the goat and, Fawn the alpaca are doing a great job of mowing the lawns, * the turtles are living in the bath until we can build a new tank for them, * the parrots are all on the back verandah pending the building of their aviaries! * have at least one person a day who thinks we are the Koala Conservation Centre (across the road and back 500m towards San Remo, you can't miss it, lol!) * taken lots of photos with Bruce for people passing by * have met some awesome people! and for family and friends, yes we are still sleeping on Koala Park mattresses on the floor because we haven't had time to unpack our furniture!! 20.01.2022 After doing a Social Media course yesterday, we realise we need to update more often and do SOO much more than we are currently doing. We have a plan, now let's see if we can get close to those goal posts.

18.01.2022 Help us to support the Phillip Island Environment by following these Water Wise tips!! Candowie Reservoir is sitting at only 42.4 % even after all the rain we have just had. This is the main water supply for the Island. Please think carefully before requesting your room be serviced with clean towels each day. Only have short showers and turn taps off properly. Every extra load of washing, every unnecessarily long shower and every tap you leave dripping means less water for for the Island residents and guests for drinking, washing, swimming, and the gardens. !!

09.01.2022 Cannot believe the debris on the tennis courts and around the park from the terrible storm today. Branches down, bark off trees, and we're told more tomorrow. Big clean up also forecast!!!

08.01.2022 The KPR Team have been hard at work today getting the Christmas theme up and running. We have Bruce the Koala all dressed up. We also have a speedy Santa ready to race over the island giving gifts.

07.01.2022 What a lovely weekend! We have donated use of all the Parks' facilities and rooms to a "Girls Weekend Away" organised by Krista Mountford. The event is raising money for Ovarian Cancer. The ladies seem to be having a really great time with a range of activities like Yoga, meditation, Neck and shoulder massages, Trivia night, psychic readings, and various workshops including cooking, craft, and beauty makeovers. Lots of Door Prizes and Goodie bags as well as a tour of the Chocolate Factory! Seeing smiles everywhere!

02.01.2022 Here at Koala Park Resort we pride ourselves on being upfront about what we offer. We are aware we are not a 5 star resort and do not claim to be. We have been here 4 weeks now, in the busiest part of the year and are brimming over with our desire to make changes to the way things are done and to update the decor. Unfortunately, time won't permit this until after the new school year starts. Our current accommodation is aimed at families (motel and family units) and school groups (bunk units) and our prices are based on the facilities we provide. While we have had an unpleasant review recently, we have also had many families who have very much enjoyed their stay and have in fact praised our cleaners on the cleanliness of our rooms. We are striving very hard to make each and every guest's visit an enjoyable one.
