24.01.2022 Having a professional photo shoot done is an investment. Now what you heard was Professional = EXPENSIVE. Not at all, sure there are some people only interested in it to make money. (same as everywhere) ... But you need to find someone that can take the time to understand what you are after and how to best bring that forward. Not all photographers do this, sometimes it just seems that they are pumping people through, here are your photos see you later kind of deal. I like to think that I can bring out a bit of personality within your images to hopefully make it an enjoyable experience. People are often shocked with what I charge for this type of image service. In that it is very little for the service that is being provided. I see it as a way where everyone can have a professional experience without the extremes of someone just filling their pockets. So send me a message anytime to discuss your ideas, whether it be a modelling portfolio, profile business shoots, passport photos (let's face it, lost office ones are terrible) or even just a super fun and exciting idea that may or may not contain unicorns. I will see if we can somehow make it a reality. What I quote you for the shoot will be exactly that cost. If you would like those images printed I can do that also :) (fine image prints up to A2 printed in house) with glass and metal prints sourced externally.

16.01.2022 Shooting in RAW enables a wider variety of edits and manipulation of light. If your photographer isn't shooting RAW are they even a photographer? Jokes aside if you are paying someone to just push a button then give you the photos what's the point? Set a tripod up yourself and go to town with the self-timer. This shot was from a recent TFP shoot with Stephanie and she still continues to receive updates on different images. My point for all of this is I see too many posts in ...here, of people advertising their services to attract paying clients, when all they are doing is putting their camera on AUTO and calling themselves a Professional Photographer. Technically YES, (if you are paid for a shoot you are a Professional Photographer). But are you? -DO you have a ABN? -DO you shoot in any mode besides AUTO? -Are you able to use light or even no light with the use of flash strobes to your advantage? -Are you able to reproduce high quality images available for print? Everyone has to start somewhere I am by no means the best at what I do but I am constantly learning and adjusting my shooting styles constantly. Just don't be that person who thinks just because they have a camera they should now charge people to take their photo. If you are a Model either getting paid or paying for a shoot ask the photographer if they are a registered business? You will be surprised as to how many will say NO. Same as the model they should also have a sole trader ABN if they are receiving money for the shoot. (unless they are already contracted to an agency and are on their payroll) (All transactions need to be legal.) TFP falls under something completely different so this is not related to that. In fact I will do TFP shoots if I am using a new piece of equipment or trying a new style, for that exact reason (practice). I know its all exciting when photographers and models contact each other wanting to work with each other. But just do it right. Its a crazy world out there and everyone has a camera, Just find the right person behind it to help you.

10.01.2022 Just going to have a little rant. Just like any business there are people who do a good job and people that do a very poor job. By no means am I the best at what I do. ... But I am sick of seeing people get ripped off for poor quality photos from people who claim to be "award winning" when you can clearly see that no effort has been put into the shoot or edit process. Photographing animals at the zoo through the glass and claiming you are a wildlife photographer. With #wild is in my books false advertisement. Or Having a portrait done that is fully out of focus, and you also paid to have that pimple on your forehead edited out yet it's still there. It's just very poor. So here is what I'm going to do..... If you have had a photo shoot done and you are unhappy with the results. I will re shoot it for you for free. Just show me the images you are unhappy with and all you have to do is cover my travel costs. (Australian residents only) Onsite, and edit time will be covered. All you have to do is get myself and equipment to where you would like to shoot. I have all my equipment in my vehicle and can travel Australia wide. -travel costs will be organised/paid before shoot takes place-
