22.01.2022 A clinical trial from Japan has revealed that repeated infrared sauna sessions 'Waon therapy' improves hemodynamics, peripheral vascular function, arrhythmias, and clinical symptoms in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). 31.3% of the group who participated in regular sauna session had cardiac events compared to 68.7% of those who didnt have regular sauna sessions. Seems a sweaty sesh has promising results as a non-pharmacological treatment for heart failure.
