24.01.2022 Not many could call this view home!

24.01.2022 It's not all just about puppy cuddles at Kodalihart Labradors. Most of the day, there is background work going on! Including: laundry (wash, dry, fold and stack linen), cleaning - lots of cleaning (2-3 hrs of daily cleaning), preparing meals, preparing special puppy formula (Myra's Puppy Formula), bottle feeding puppies, cleaning and refilling water buckets, daily poop scoop, walking and exercising the girls, vet trips, cleaning and monitoring their c-section wounds, nipple... care for the mother dogs, administering medications and supplements, checking temperatures, de-worming the dogs and puppies, recording every puppy's weight, clipping their sharp little toenails, adjusting their ID collars as they grow every day, and I also mowed all the pens today! It's been a very busy day!

23.01.2022 Just a few days to go until Zara is due, so excited! Expecting a small litter based on her xray yesterday. All puppies are accounted for with waiting families. Looking forward to seeing these babies soon

18.01.2022 It's been awhile since we posted an update, but we are happy to say all the pups are doing well! They are making the milestones such as opening their eyes, starting to play with each other, and walking! Pepsi weighs over 1 kg now! He loves his 4-6 hourly bottles! A few other pups have been supplemented aswell, as the milkbar just can't make enough milk quick enough to keep up with this bunch of puppies! Skyla's puppies weigh as much - some are more - than Kodie's puppies even though they are four days younger! Skyla's pups are so chunky for their age!!!

17.01.2022 A nice warm afternoon for swimming and retrieving in the dam before it rains later

17.01.2022 Too beautiful not to take a photo towards the kennels as I was leaving for work this evening! My favorite time of year because of the long daylight hours, although it feels weird going to night shift while its still light! Loving the green lawns for the dogs, but it means I have been mowing it every few days, as its been growing like crazy.

15.01.2022 As a birthday present to myself, I bought this! Cannot wait to receive this framed watercolor art which will hang in my bedroom, thanks to Crystal at Pets Into Art for being patient with me and making several revisions to the art! Really looking forward to its arrival!

Since then you have gained two obedience titles, your Australian Champion title, and raised two beautiful litters of black and chocolate puppies. You'll always be my special girl. 13.01.2022 Pupdate from the Legacy Litter whelping box! They will be three weeks old tomorrow! Kodie is doing a fantastic job raising her babies! And Skyla, although she has her own babies, wouldn't mind helping out aswell!

13.01.2022 Two choc labs had a lovely afternoon at the beach yesterday! Its a nice secluded beach, an hour drive from home that we havnt been to before!

13.01.2022 We have a couple of prolific swimmers who are very competitive for the balls, while the other two use their brains and wait for them to bring the balls back to the edge!

11.01.2022 Guess who graduated onto a real bottle today!!! Hopefully no more tube-feeding for our special little Pepsi! He finally reached the birth weight of his littermates as he pushed 440 grams today! What a little star he is!

10.01.2022 Ready to make this delicious, healthy food disappear! Our girls eat only the best here. We are big fans of raw and balanced, biologically appropriate food for canines. The health benefits speak through their healthy physiques and shiney coats! I am certain our dogs eat better than we do! # raw and balanced Paws from us!

10.01.2022 Today was Cast in the Park day for the girls! Two hours of non-stop fun and play, dogs being dogs. Lots of new fur-ends to play with. Even Miss Charlee Bear came out of her shell as she hasnt had the opportunity for much of a social life yet. Her favorite new fuwend was Keira, her half-sister. Zara is the water bowl hog, and finds all the mud puddles. Skyla and Kodie happy to fetch the ball and run with the pack. Other varieties in the park included golden retrievers, other labradors, german short haired pointers, a curly retriever cross, a kelpie cross, a border collie, and some white fluffies. Glad everyone got on famously. It didn't even rain until we left! Hope this uploads in HD for you all.

04.01.2022 Facts for you: Labradors are, by their very nature and breed purpose, retrieving water dogs. The Labrador is a hardy built, active dog, with strong retrieving instinct, and distinct features that enable them to work under all types of conditions, including their strong head, weatherproof double coat, and otter-like tail. Their full breed name is the Labrador Retriever. Our labradors love nothing more than an hour or two of swimming and retrieving. These photos were taken today at one of our four dams on our farm. Kodie and Zara the keenest and strong swimmers! 02.01.2022 Bring on the summer again This photo was from our Kodalihart Labrador Dog Day Out we had in January at the Kepala Pet Resort. It was a great fun, family and dog day out with BBQ, plus games and swimming for the dogs. Next time we are going to need a bigger park though!
