21.01.2022 Over the weekend I did something very exciting! I stepped well outside of my comfort zone and had a crack at my very first grooming competition! I walked into this comp with no expectations of placing; simply to gain experience, get a critique so I can improve my every day grooms and meet a bunch of new faces. After weeks of prep work and having all the gear-but no idea, I did it all!! I even placed FIRST in my novice salon freestyle class!! It was such a fantastic experi...ence and all the competitors produced stunning grooms! 21.01.2022 COVID-19 and Kodaru I want to advise all my clients that it is business as usual for Kodaru. I am monitoring the continually developing recommendations in relation to the COVID-19 Pandemic. ... All of the below measures are pre-existing Standard Operating Procedures and will continue to be undertaken to protect both myself & my clients. Cleaning of hands prior to collecting pooch from client’s property Disinfecting table, bath and equipment between each dog Fresh clean towels for each dog Cleaning of hands following completion of groom when handing pooch back to client Detailed clean of van at completion of each day In addition, I request that all dogs be handed to me by their lead to minimise contact. If I experience any flu-like symptoms I will not be conducting any work until these symptoms have completely resolved. Any clients impacted will be rescheduled to the soonest available appointments. If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, please contact me prior to your pooch’s scheduled groom. Where possible, alternatives will be suggested to prevent contact with you whilst still being able to continue with the scheduled groom. Where a suitable alternative is not available to prevent contact, the groom will need to be cancelled & rescheduled. I am committed to continue working & having your pups looking their best whilst respecting the seriousness of the times ahead. If you have any queries please contact me prior to your scheduled groom.
