10.11.2021 Charlie was diagnosed with a Medulloblastoma brain tumor in May of this 2020. Medulloblastoma has 4 subtypes: WNT, SHH, Group 3, Group 4. Charlie had a SHH beta. She had no metastasis (spread) in the brain or spine. She’s on a St. Jude’s protocol and we decided to add a type of chemotherapy that is mainly used in Germany instead of doing radiation. She has two ports, one in her chest and one in her head that goes directly to her spinal fluid called an Ommaya. She has done 9/10 of the intense chemotherapy admissions. We will keep you updated of beautiful Charlies progress
