01.01.2022 Bigger, Better & More.... The amazing Dutch Food Festival #hollandfestivalaustralia was really a fantastic support and day for many people and families in Australia, also for #KOEKANDCAKE. They gave me lots of opportunities and faith in Bigger, Better & More I totally understand this decision but also it is really confronting in what time we live at the moment...I really will miss this event enormously, to look forward to and plan again in 2021...... Hi Guys, We have decided not to run a Holland Festival next March. There are just too many risks on too many fronts. - a 3rd or 4th Covid wave - reluctance by the public to gather in large groups even if we could or did proceed - availability of vendors, exhibitors and entertainers (have some vendors/exhibitors shut up shop?? - hopefully none).. - Government and Council restrictions and requirements and Covid plans - at this stage the City of Casey are indicating that events will be limited to jut 500 people even with a Covid safe plan. In mean time, the Committee of the Holland Festival wish you the very best of success in these trying times. Hopefully we can stick together and assess whether we can still have a Festival in 2022 or maybe even Autumn of 2021. Only time will tell. I don’t think we should consider it until the world is again as free and open as it was pre Covid.
