22.01.2022 Hello! We've got some work for the upcoming ski season at Mt Buller in Victoria. We're a small family owned restaurant which pumps out food in a usual COVID-free year and are hoping to again this ski season. We're looking for a friendly, experienced, fast and mature Cook or Short Order Cook, someone that doesn't mind fitting into a system and works well living and working in a close environment with other hospitality pro's.... We're also looking for Barista's/General Duty Staff members. We need someone for the entirety of the ski season, from approximately mid-June until the start of October but this depends heavily on snowfall and weather and global warming etc... For a reasonable rate (~$200) we provide shared accommodation (2-4 people in a room), WiFi and 3 meals a day. As a Mt Buller staff member you are entitled to a discounted ski pass, and with us you get to use it as we provide ski breaks every weekday and sometimes on weekends and you get a day off a week. Having said this, as we're in the middle of the ski resort having skiing or snowboarding proficiency is very highly regarded. Wages are Casual Award wages and we naturally apply Saturday, Sunday, Public Holiday and overtime loadings as applicable. If you feel you meet these requirements we would love to hear from you!
