25.01.2022 I’m back from a tech detox! Highly recommend we all switch off from time to time, it’s a great feeling. If you’ve missed my voice, tune into 6PR at 10:30AM AWST today to hear me chat about Facebook and other tech companies that have been caught out listening to anonymous calls. Is it sinister? ... Tune in to hear my thoughts on it all

23.01.2022 9 years ago today I started Yappy in my garage with $2,000 to my name and a mission to solve social media ROI. People thought I was insane. And I still am! It’s been a crazy ride and certainly wasn’t easy. I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved and become. From meeting my idol Richard Branson a number of times to doing some world first campaigns and being APAC leaders at what we do - it’s been epic.... The main reason I started the company was to give back and make a difference and we’ve certainly done that. We’ve been a part of building/making child friendly 9 schools in developing countries and helped numerous charities close to our hearts including more recently Lifeline WA. We’re still on a mission to become a unicorn by the 29th of March 2029 so that we can have an epic philanthropic fund helping the causes we believe in. We’re a culture driven organisation who doesn’t put values up on the wall to look at. We live and breath them. My favourite is Think Different. Find better! Looking forward to many more years of doing exactly that. A HUGE thanks to our board, investors, clients and staff for making Yappy what it is today. My heart is warm and my burning desire even stronger. Here’s to many more years ahead Let’s do this!! Yappy Days!

21.01.2022 Here's an explaination of the Facebook and Australian news debacle and my personal view on it.

20.01.2022 Happy Chooseday everyone! Yes Tuesday (Chooseday) is my favourite day of the week. I’ve had a lot of people ask about the red on my face and thought I’d explain it in the hope that it gets some others to go and get a skin check. If you can choose one thing on this Chooseday - book a check up in. It takes 20 mins, is painless and could save a life.... #selfcare #people #life

15.01.2022 It was a dark, early, cold morning 2 years ago today that I set about to become the first person to ride a hydrobike and cycle across the ocean 20KMs from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island in Western Australia. It was hard. I decided to do it two months prior in an attempt to raise enough money to build a school in Cambodia. I went from incredibly unfit to unfit in 8 weeks to be able to do it. I was dedicated. I trained hard, I had great support from other people and I was d...etermined to pull it off. This video documents the day. While I'm proud of the achievement I am even prouder that together with 9 other business owners we raised enough money to build not one but two schools. Later this week I will share some footage of our trip to Cambodia to open them. It was such an honour and privilege to be welcomed into the local communities to officially open the Schools and something I will never forget. While we have had challenges with education during Covid-19 here in Australia and in many other developed Countries we were fortunate to have had access to the technology, tools, and devices to offer our communities something. We are very lucky. Later this week I will share a video of the School openings. It's amazing what you can achieve when you mix passion, dedication, and belief!

15.01.2022 Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted so I thought I’d give you an update. Hopefully this is a reminder that you can do anything you want if you believe it and don’t let doubt in...

15.01.2022 Always love meeting people at the top of their game. Was great meeting Janine Allis last night and hearing more about her story (and Survivor). Such a great human and very inspiring! Her advice - make sure you find the right life partner. I’ve certainly nailed that and am looking forward to making it official in January.

12.01.2022 Look Mum. I'm on TV... always a treat to chat and share my opinions/insights with people - this time as a panelist on channel 9s The Pulse with Kate Hedley - WA Todays Deputy Editor. Happy Chooseday :)

03.01.2022 Had a great time on the Entrepreneurs Journey panel last night! It's always great to reflect and share some stories of my adventure in business. From starting up in a garage 8 years ago to making it a goal to meet Richard Branson and making it happen along with my crazy philanthropic adventures like my bicycle ride across the ocean last year to raise funds to build a school in Cambodia. When I think about what's got me where I am today which is far from the first year in the ...garage there is one thing that has made it happen. GOALS. It's amazing what you can achieve/do when you write something down with purpose, a due date, and determination to reach it. It truly is possible to achieve even the craziest of visions. I also love learning. Continuously. So that I can become better and better. It was AWESOME to hear the other panel members Nathan Hood of Carbon Group and Alicia Curtis of Alyceums entrepreneurial journeys. Huge shout out to Andy Lamb of Startup Grind for being an awesome facilitator and asking great questions. Also well done to Ben Stokes and Steve Archibald of Boston Stanley for putting on an awesome event and the snaps! It's always great to speak to a sold-out room and I loved chatting to everyone after. Here's to the next 8 years! Yappy Days!

02.01.2022 Clear communication is a powerful force. Too often it is underrated. Now, more than ever we need to get the right messages to the right people at the right times. Spot the difference...... Spread this far and wide so the virus doesn't.
