25.01.2022 I’m back in the library after 3 weeks leave Read & listened to some good books and one that just wouldn’t end! But found these in the library today, so nice children enjoy being with parents here and that the place had eyes kept on it

Whether you’re picking up a book for the first time or your head is already stuck in one, there’s plenty of books, activities and events as part of our festivities. On Thursday 12 November we’ll celebrate Australian Reading Hour. You’re invited to stop what you’re doing for an hour, pick up a book and read to yourself or the children in your life.... 23.01.2022 Expressions of interest are invited from members of the community who would be interested in the Select and Collect service. If you are unable to leave your home, but have assistance in the form of someone who can get to the library in your stead, this service is for you. Library staff will build a reading profile for you, select and issue items, and prepare a bag for collection every month.... To register your interest, call 9831 2412 or email [email protected]

23.01.2022 From 1st November the OverDrive & Libby apps will no longer work on some older devices, mainly those purchased prior to 2015 which haven’t been, or cannot be, updated. According to OverDrive stats, there are very few people still using these outdated devices but if you do and can no longer access these apps, then please try updating the operating system (OS) on your device. If this is not possible then their only option is to upgrade you device. How annoying! That means my personal device is one that will be affected ...... but it still works!!

15.01.2022 I purchased this book for our library last year....why did I take so long to read it? Make sure it’s on your too read pile! Starts as a typical morning at playgroup, mums, friends, children playing, sharing the watching over all children, until Bella is missing and no one saw anything? ... Where is she? Is she ok? Who has taken her? The nightmare of all parents.

For the Minecraft savvy, there are both Survival and Creative worlds to build on, minigames like Parkour, Spleef and PVP, and competitions galore. 08.01.2022 Did you know.... Kojonup also has a wonderful Toy Library, run by volunteer parents. Toy Library is a fantastic way to bring toys into your home for your children to borrow. Also for grandparents who actually dont want the full time clutter of toys unless the grandchildren are visiting. Best of all you take them back to swap....constantly new toys!
