07.01.2022 Firstly I would like to say how grateful I am for this garden. This time last year none of us knew what was next. The smoke, visitors leaving... As people rebuild their homes and lives, we had a farewell slap on the back of the head from 2020 with thousands of Victorians heading south yesterday and today. The biggest collective employer in Merimbula and our coastal towns is hospitality, retail, accommodation providers and the ancillary businesses that serve them. This is gonna be hard on many of us. Staff will lose jobs, businesses will be under pressure. Therefore, it is so important that we all look after each other. Make sure we are ok....the community needs to work as one and we all need each other's support. Tough times for everyone in our beautiful region.
