20.01.2022 Currently Closed due to low volume of Honey and Winter Season coming. Thanks to all our customers and will post availability as soon as volumes pick up near end of winter. We will still post things around the bees and how they are doing and what you can do to keep them pollinating in your gardens.

19.01.2022 Just a quick video showing the Bees are very busy in the super filling the comb up with honey, shouldn't be to long before we are harvesting

18.01.2022 Bee Hive is a bit taller this year ready for spring. Watch this space as the smaller box has a surprise for this season , and we will have to see if the bees are up for the challenge.

18.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW ???? Did you know that consuming wild, raw, local honey may offer a gradual desensitization to your seasonal allergies? Bees pick up the pollen from their environment. This is the same local pollen that may be contributing to your seasonal allergies. When you go to an allergy clinic and get multiple shots, you are actually slowly building up your tolerance to the specific allergens contained in the shot itself. Each time you visit, you are injected with more of t...he allergen. In some cases the allergy can be alleviated altogether, and you stop reacting to that specific allergen. Honeybees can offer this same benefit, without all the pricey shots! It is important to consume raw, local honey because raw honey has not been treated, pasteurized, or processed in any way. When consuming raw honey, you reap the benefits of local pollen collected by the honeybees. No specific dosage of honey is proven to be the perfect amount, but a daily dose is preferred.

17.01.2022 Some interesting information on the benifits of honey especially local honey.

15.01.2022 Last harvest of the season and will be selling honey from Monday.

14.01.2022 One of my customers sent me this today. Stating "Breakfast for Champions" Looks yummy but I can see your getting low on honey , don't worry spring is round the corner.

14.01.2022 First signs of spring approaching Bees starting to come out with the weather starting to warm up today. A few blossoms around the area ,and the bees are taking full advantage of them. If you look closely in the video , you will see the big bright yellow pollen sacks.... Very excited that the bees are out , should see lots of honey in the hive soon. More updates to come as we get closer to spring .

02.01.2022 Time to give the Hive Roof abit of TLC while the sun is out. Using a Natural decking oil to seal the roof and a sanitary sealant for gaps . This is to keep hive maintained which prevents mould and any pests getting into the roof cavity. Important to make sure hive is maintained regularly.
