21.01.2022 I'm in agony..... With an up coming operation for Elena, she's forbidden me to bid on a Kombi that I've found on Ebay. Our plans to buy over the next couple of months are now on hold pending the outcome. It means more research and building of our website time ( and a break for Christmas...)... 21.01.2022 Well, (sadly) no Kombi parked outside today... (WTF Santa!!!). Elena is struggling with her surgery and we're contemplating how to raise money for our Kombi. We really don't wan't to use the funds we gained by selling our land in Vanuatu, but knowing that we HAVE the money is killing me... If we're going to get this business off the ground in 2020 we need to have a strong action plan.... Elena's been looking at using the money to purchase a a house to flip (do up and sell) and take the profit to buy a Kombi.... Sounds crazy right? But we've been burnt with a business 10 years ago and we just don't want to be burnt buying a Kombi. I was so frustrated at the thought of letting several Kombi's slip through my grasp over the last couple of months I was at wits end. Grabbing my helmet I took a 450km Motorbike ride to clear my head. Next year will bring more clarity, I'm still working on the website and developing the direction of where we want Kombi Venture to be in the market. The cool thing is when explaining to people our vision, they get more excited that we do.... So I guess we're on the right track. We just need to be patient, apparently something I lack. #KombiVentures #KombiHunting

05.01.2022 Twice over the last couple of weeks I've driven down Camp Cable road south from our place. Elena spotted the Kombi sitting out front with the pop top up. Then last weekend I spotted it, with what looked to be a small piece of paper in the windscreen. As we were on a educational run (teaching a guy to ride a motorbike) we couldn't stop....
