21.01.2022 Driving People Style Less responsive, more assertive. Speak, walk and decide quickly. Less emotionally expressive. Voice louder, direct eye-contact.... Works efficiently. Delegates. Wants things completed yesterday. Outcome focussed. Focus more on the facts than feelings. "Tell-oriented." Richard came out of the people styles survey with driving style with a score of 5, whilst his analytical score was 7. 10.01.2022 Amiable Style More responsive, less assertive. People friendly. Personable, easy going manner. Empathetic.... Care what others think/want. More interested in others concerns than expressing their own. Compassion shows in their face, eyes and words. Slower in forming opinions. Like to work 1-1 or in small groups. Don't seek limelight. Generous with their time. Quick to help others. Comfortable with eye contact. Reluctant to give others feedback as they have fear of offending. Comfortable doing routine procedures that are established by others. Rely on gestures when communicating. This is one of the people styles that I came out with. I actually scored the same for analytical and expressive, but can see more characteristics of me in this style. 08.01.2022 One of the components of my study has involved learning about different people styles. Thinking about how many people we interact with in our working and personal life, it has been interesting finding out how you can communicate with these different styles to get the best out of them. There are four people styles: analytical, driving , amiable and expressive. I will post characteristics over the next few days of each style. See if you can work out what style you are.

01.01.2022 Expressive People Style More assertive, more responsive. Flamboyant. Like bright colours, bold statements and things that are eye-catching. Love the limelight.... Like feedback. Have lots of energy. Want to be where the action is. Visionaries. Animated facial gestures. Long on talking, short on listening. Not strong on follow-through. Don't like details. Impulsive - act first, think later. Time management is a challenge. Like networking and working with others. Emotions play a dominant role in decision-making. This was also a style that I came out with and I can see some characteristics that are me.
