If we receive the most token votes we will receive $300 which will be put towards purchasing much needed resources for the children's learning environments. 12.01.2022 Last week on November 7 we spent the whole day outside for Outdoor Classroom Day, a global initiative for getting children outside. We ran our routine as normal with the children enjoying water play, our mud pit, an ice egg experiment, yoga on the deck, shadow drawing and even a boot camp of tyre flipping! 06.01.2022 Here’s the news you’ve been waiting for! City Library, Warilla Library & Albion Park Library will re-open on Monday 1 June 2020. We’re pleased to take this fi...rst step towards re-opening our libraries but things will look a little different as we follow the guidelines to create a safe environment during COVID-19. There will be shorter opening hours & visitor limits will apply, so we’re asking you to make your visit a quick one. During your visit you will be able to return items, pick up reservations, choose & borrow items. And remember you will need your library card to borrow! Some other services remain unavailable at this time including computer use, printing, copying, meeting rooms & programs. Please find out more at bit.ly/2XHPFNg For now, Oak Flats Library will remain closed due to the upcoming refurbishment & Shellharbour Village Library will remain closed due to safe distancing measures. 06.01.2022 As the children at Koninderie have shown an interest in investigating and exploring insects, bugs and reptiles throughout Term 1, we thought this would be a great show for families to attend. Giving the children an opportunity to see some of these reptiles up close and personal.

03.01.2022 Billy's tip of the week! One of the challenges of starting big school is navigating the new toilets. Often children haven't experienced a cubicle on their own, so it is a great idea to practice this skill with your child in the lead up. When you are out shopping or in a public place, find the toilets and encourage your child to practice using the lock.... Also, have a chat about boys and girls toilets - lots of children in early childhood services and preschools are used to sharing the bathroom with all of their peers.
