25.01.2022 Two years ago we designed and produced this kit for a club called Has Beens FC. One of the club was a certain G. Foti of the famous Foti Fireworks family, who are responsible for the vast majority of fireworks displays in Australia. So given we will be watching a specially prepared for television fireworks Sydney Harbour fireworks display tonight it prompted us to show it again.

24.01.2022 Some photos in from over the weekend. Gold Coast Force Futsal announcing the signing of Futsalroos Daniel Fogarty. Great pick up by the club especially as he scored a brace on debut. Canberra, Australian Capital Territory based Futsal Team Timberwolves modeling their recently arrived slightly retro red, yellow and navy kit. Great to see Heart Futsal Club getting their teams back into competition and playing on synthetic on the weekend. With the relaxation of C-19 rules they... will be back indoors as of today. Finally great to see Latrobe Valley Soccer League junior teams back in pre-season comps. Seniors will be back as of this week. In the orange is Fortuna 60 Soccer Club.

First up Darebin Chargers Cricket Club of the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association sporting their reversible sleeveless jersey- blue on one side and white on the other, and then Waurn Ponds - Deakin CC of the Geelong Cricket Association in their custom designed playing shirts with sponsor logos. With the Cricket season now underway in Metro we are getting enquiries for caps, jerseys and off- field apparel such as hoodies to be delivered this side of Christmas. 22.01.2022 Did you know? Recycled polyester fibre is better for the climate creating 75% less CO2 emissions than virgin polyester. Recycled polyester doesn’t require new petroleum to create it, lowering the demand for new petroleum extraction and reduces overall carbon footprint.... Recycled polyester provides a use for both post consumer and post industrial plastic and prevents landfill use. Our first delivery of custom apparel utilising recycled fabric arrived yesterday. The KonQa logo has been subtly changed to reflect the garment is made with recycled fabric. Each short sleeve shirt is made from the equivalent of 8 recycled bottles- a keepers shirt 10. 18.01.2022 It is National Recycling Week and so appropriate to announce that Geelong United Basketball will be wearing KonQa apparel made from recycled plastic bottles in season 2020-21. A minimum of 8 plastic bottles are recycled into specifically engineered, hi-tech fabric to make one garment. Geelong’s Reversible Training Singlets, Shorts, Long Sleeve Warm Up Shirt and Polo will all be made from this fabric with other items being added in due course. With Geelong’s VJBL trials co...mmencing this week we have been assisting with sizing up new and existing players so that the kits will be here well ahead of the season commencing. 17.01.2022 It is hard to believe that up until the 1980’s most football shirts were long sleeved. Today 98% of the playing shirts we supply are short sleeve. We can and do make long sleeved playing shirts for clubs. FICA MPH Vikings of Alice Springs specifically wanted a set of long sleeved shirts to complement the short sleeve shirts they ordered in August 2020. ... Long sleeve shirts can be the answer to cooler climate, sensitive skins and cultural issues. Ringwood City have chosen to use our recycled fabric which sees 8 plastic bottles converted into a hi-tec fabric which wicks away moisture leaving the wearer dry and cool. 15.01.2022 Melbourne has long been acknowledged as wearing ‘fashionably black’... not to be outdone Tasmania’s Fearless Futsal Club Academy programme will be wearing these black and gold shirts very shortly. The club were keen to get an understated yet classic combination of colours. We think these work really well, what do you think?

14.01.2022 Victorian Churches Football Association club Lilydale Eagles Soccer Club will be wearing these training shirts very shortly. In 2021 a lot of Victorian clubs will be utilising the playing kit they anticipated wearing in season 2020. Training shirts allow clubs to raise much needed revenue. Clubs charge sponsors between $350- $500 to display a logo on the shirt. ... Sponsors get increased visibility as these tend to get worn to gyms and as a casual shirt and are not just reserved for game-day. 13.01.2022 Out retro inspired design collection has received a few more requests; Arsenal FC’s early 1990’s ‘bruised banana’ shirt would appear to be a firm favourite as is Liverpool’s late 1980’s ‘speckle’ shirt. Summer and social football and futsal teams are ordering and wearing shirt designs they loved as kids. Which retro kit would you like to see designed next?

13.01.2022 Another football genius has departed this earth far too soon, and spookily, on the same date as another football immortal George Best. KonQa’s ‘old warhorse’ has been boring us silly about the 1986 World Cup quarter final between Argentina and England. After nearly destroying his TV by throwing things at it after the despicable ‘Hand of God’ goal; less than 10 minutes later he says he got to witness probably the best goal of the 20th Century. Like all geniuses Maradona had... more than a few flaws, but on a football pitch he was pretty much perfection personified. We have designed and made a couple of kits for clubs paying homage to Diego Armando Maradona- one was for a team called Boca Seniors - hence the grey hair - and the other was for the wonderfully named Maradona Kebab. Rest In Peace.

11.01.2022 We believe that our kits always look better in person than they ever do in 3D Render- although they look mighty fine in Render format. UQFC have just taken delivery of their new training shirts. We like the way the yellow transitions into Sky Blue on the collar, sleeve cuff and side-seam. ... Maroon kits can sometimes prove problematical but we think this has been given a bit of a ‘pop’ with the accent colours. What do you think?

08.01.2022 Actor Sean Connery has passed away aged 90. To many film fans, he remains the best version of James Bond. Connery was reportedly offered a playing contract by Manchester United’s legenday manager Sir Matt Busby when he spotted him playing a game at the age of 23. Connery decided to concentrate on acting. In tribute, we have designed a shirt for a team called Shaken, not stirred FC. The main shirt sponsor is Aston Martin and Omega watches is the rear. The sleeves feature his ...weapon of choice, a Walther PPK pistol,and a Martini glass. The barrel rifling motif references the opening scenes of any Bond movie. The choice of number was unavoidable. What would you like to see on the shirt?

05.01.2022 The vast majority of Vicsoccer and in fact any Victorian Football clubs didn’t get the chance to kick a ball in Season 2020- so we were delighted when Prahran City FC sent us this photo yesterday. As Metro Melbourne emerges from lockdown it is great to see these shirts, the navy home and white geometric away, being worn albeit in a social environment. Kudos to the Prahran players who clearly had kept the kilos off during lockdown.
