25.01.2022 Perth glass crafstman, George Aitken has offered all funds raised through the sale of his Iconic Neon Kangaroo Paw - 'Kurulbrang' to the Lord Mayor's Distress R...elief Fund. Help those unfortunate individuals who have lost their homes in the Wooroloo-Bullsbrook Bushfires by donating to this cause and keep this beautiful piece of art in the community of York. A vivid piece of our heritage - the red and green kangaroo paw is the WA State emblem, an entrant in the very first York Botanic Art Prize will remain a community asset. George has been so generous with his donation and Gallery 152 have waived their commission in the spirit of the cause. If you would like to visit my post any donations would be gladly received. 06.01.2022 so excited to see the developments at Avon Park on Lowe Street. The old gazebo is now in its new position near the swing bridge, the flying fox is being installed, skate park and lots of new adventures to be had.

03.01.2022 COVID-19 might be doing its darndest to dampen our spirits but the Shire of York have busy lifting mine with this upgrade to Avon Park, just below Kookaburra Cottages.
