16.01.2022 We have missed some of our kindergarten children since the COVID-19 pandemic so we sent them in the post a simple bookmark to let them know they are still in our thoughts and hoping that we will see them again. #weareallinthistogether

08.01.2022 A message from a staff member at Kool Kids Nerang Hi my Name is Mandi Boys and I work at Kool Kids Nerang. Our wonderful staff and families of our centre are collecting donations for all the victims of these devastating fires around Canungra and other areas. Because our centre is such a large centre with many of our families live around these areas that have been affected by this devastation, so we have all put our wonderful ideas and hearts together to collect baskets and bo...xes of goodies and donations that we can give to people in need. It's a wonderful cause that could help many people in so many ways. People can donate items at our kindy that we can collect and we can deliver in our 20 seater bus to the right places. Anything from pet food, toiletries, canned foods, unwanted clothing or toys even some of our lost property that we have throughout our centre! The children at our centre are all getting involved making messages, pictures to other children. Sometimes something so simple as a drawing can make such a change to another child especially some of their little friends that have been affected by these devostating fires. I have contacted Le Gassick Jewellery on the Gold Coast and they have generously donated earrings to be raffled off as well as many other stores throughout the Gold Coast. We have Girl Guides throughout the Gold Coast as well as a number of churches. I will be contacting Sea FM tomorrow so everyone involved will be mentioned through our centre as well as on the radio. All donations can be left at our Kool kids centre in Nerang on 141/159 Beaudesert Nerang Road, Nerang. We have come up with the name "SHARING IS CARING" as our children throughout our centre often express this in their everyday play. Thank you for your time, Mandi Boys

04.01.2022 We have setup a sanitizing station before entering our centre. Families and visitors are encouraged to use the hand sanitizers before entering our centre and after exiting. We are very OPEN and are doing our part as we keep everyone safe and healthy. #weareallinthistogether

01.01.2022 This is shared by a beautiful co worker who has organised a donation box at Kool kids Nerang. Any donations will make a difference and help those who are fighting this horrible nightmare Wow! What an amazing response we are having at Kool kids! Donations are pouring in for everyone in Canungra and other areas around devostated by these fires. Our first van load was taken up to Canungra this afternoon and given out to everyone in the community. I have contacted Woolworths,... Bid foods which have now donating food and supplies to our firemen as well as people throughout the area. National storage have now given us a storage shed, 90.9 have me talking tomorrow on their radio station which they say will be shared on other station's throughout the Gold Coast. Thank u from the heart to everyone involved there is so much more our friends need please don't forget their pets who also need food. We have organised blankets ect for Currumbin wildlife sanctuary for our beautiful wildlife that will be going to them soon for their help and care. We still need vet care products and medication if anyone could please help or ask someone they know that could help! Also gift vouchers are perfect for them to be able to go and buy their own personal things. I have many other company's and stores i have contacted and are waiting on emails to see how they can help. Our firemen are living on sandwiches at the moment so any frozen, can meals would be appreciated.
