What a perfect opportunity for children to learn about nature and growing foods. Children have been spending lots of time outside enjoying the sunshine, exploring the garden beds, soil, plants and insects that they can spot in our yard. So this morning we decided to plant some seedlings together. We got some mint, parsley... and lettuce seedlings, garden tools and recycling milk bottles with water that we used as watering cans. We sat outside around garden bed as a group ,socialising, talking about what we going to do ,how and why.
