25.01.2022 Some of our latest creations



23.01.2022 Our second week - dream catchers, decoupage, paper mache, drawing and painting. This week we upcycled bangles, fabric, wool, loom creations, wooden hangers, quilting magazines, art and craft supplies donated through our collection bins.

20.01.2022 A fun first week at Belconnen and Queanbeyan studios filled with mosaics, paper mache, decoupage, painting, drawing, card making, discovering talents, learning new skills, making new friends and greeting old friends. Thanks Canberra community for donating your second hand materials through our collection bins. We are in need of old jewellery, mosaic, art and craft supplies, small wooden furniture, old cameras and their chargers.



20.01.2022 Christmas is around the corner now! The Upcycling Studio has been hard at work producing for The Markets Wanniassa. Pop in and check out some of the christmas decorations and unique gifts created by our talented participants....all proceeds go directly to the artist!

14.01.2022 Here are some of our button art, string art and sharpie art projects this week. Thanks Canberra for your donated materials through our Koomarri collection bins. We are continually seeking second hand goods - small wood, glass, tin objects, jewellery, eye glass cases, bowling balls, art and craft materials, fake flowers, quilting fabrics, pots, wooden chairs and side tables.



08.01.2022 After a hectic few weeks, the Koomarri Upcycling Studio is ready for creative classes to start tomorrow in Belconnen and Queanbeyan. Here are some pics of our transformation at Belconnen. Thanks to Telstra volunteers, Inspirations Paint Belconnen, Health Consumer Forum of Australia for your furniture and Paul the builder for helping us get here.

03.01.2022 1 week until we start our new creative classes. This week we are painting out our upcycling studio in Belconnen. 03.01.2022 We are so excited and proud to be supporting artists with disability to sell their artworks and upcycled creations at The Markets Wanniassa shop. We hope to see you at their grand opening tomorrow from 10am. Tomorrow we are launching the artwork of Paul, a talented local artist. The Markets Wanniassa, located in the Wanniassa Shops, is a collective of handmade goods from locals.
