17.01.2022 Wait... thats not an alpaca?? Haha.. Just something a little different today! I just had to share this cute photo of the cat that is spoilt rotten in this household, at Koonapacas alpacas. Albert!! And he is definitely not a morning person!! He got woken up.. and doesn’t look impressed! Well he never looks happy!! Haha he just didn’t want to open his eyes this morning! Don’t you just want to pinch those cheeks and touch his little squished in nose?? Haha

15.01.2022 The alpacas may be bigger than Macey but that doesn’t stop her from being courageous and affectionate with all the alpacas. How gorgeous are these pictures!!! We had a lovely visit from our good friends from Grey Gum Alpacas over the weekend. Perfect day for a BBQ, laughs and good company!

08.01.2022 Introducing little Mr Jagger who is Katrina’s new alpaca and Stellas baby. He is a suri just like his mother but the dark colour of his fleece comes from his dads side. He is very little but super cute. Stella is being very protective of her new little one.. but she will allow visitors to see her new addition. Lol

05.01.2022 Last goodbye picture of this little guy who is now at his forever home.. to make his new family smile and share lots of memories. This little guy has such a beautiful friendly personality, and sometimes it’s hard to say goodbye when you get attached. But we are just glad he is at a good home that will love him just as much as we do!

05.01.2022 Scarlett putting her hand out for Demi to sniff it! Haha. Little Demi is just so friendly.. we love it when the little ones come straight up to you to play or be inquisitive with what your doing!

03.01.2022 My little Raven girl getting her winter woolies off for the summer. How clever is my dad!! He made this table from scratch and customised it to his level, so he doesn’t have to bend on the ground and strain his back as much, and very importantly the alpacas feel as comfortable as they can be! It even has a special leaver that with a press of the button, the table goes from side on, to table side up. The alpacas are strapped in and so it lifts them straight up onto the table...! Most of the alpacas are completely fine and are very good with getting there haircuts, but there are a couple that love their long hair and get upset when it’s time for it to come off! Also some have very ticklish legs! As weird as this contraption looks, all alpacas are safe, comfortable and it works perfect for us on shearing days. Two busy weekends and 59 of our alpacas are sheared! See more

02.01.2022 People often ask how do you get the best selfies with your alpacas? Well it takes a lot of patience, many photos to get the right one.. and sometimes these little pacas just don’t want their face taken! Haha
